Still Alice Out 13 February 2015

Still AliceForefront Media Group releases STILL ALICE, starring Julianne Moore. The film, which won both the Golden Globe and SAG Awards for best actress and is now the frontrunner for the Best Actress Academy Award, premieres in South African cinemas February 13th, 2015.

In STILL ALICE, Julianne Moore plays Alice Howland – a happily married and renowned linguistics professor with three grown children, who starts to forget words. When she receives the devastating diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, Alice and her family find their bonds tested.

Moore stars along Kristen Stewart, Alec Baldwin, and Kate Bosworth in the film, which reunites Co-Directors and Co-Writers Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland (THE LAST OF ROBIN HOOD).

“…A seamless and powerfully moving film. The cast is simply phenomenal. Julianne Moore, one of the world’s truly great film actresses, gives here her finest performance to date…” said Sony Pictures Classics.

“A nuanced and sensitively embroidered performance that is inventive without the slightest hint of contrivance. You go away feeling educated, enlightened and more compassionate than you can possibly imagine. It’s a hell of a lesson in one hell of a motion picture.” – Rex Reed, The New York Observer.

“We’re excited to bring this stellar film to South African cinemas and have high hopes for this year’s Academy Award to go to Julianne Moore”, said Ryan Haidarian of Forefront Media Group.
