Paul Blart Mall Cop 2: Review

Kevin James is back, in his role as security guard, in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. This time, he’s on his way to Las Vegas with his daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez). At the convention they attend, they inadvertently stumble upon a group planning an intricate heist.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is a light hearted, feel good comedy. One that is not going to challenge the brain, or have you guessing at plot twists. There are moments of differing types of humour, and is bound to appeal to those who like their comedy on the lighter side, with laughs created by the awkward situations that ensue.

The plot is an incredibly simple one, where good should triumph over evil, the underdog prevails, and people look to what is right to govern their actions.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is for those who enjoyed the initial instalment, but its sure to have a focussed audience, and so is not for everyone.

It opens in South African cinemas 8 May 2015.
