Lalla To Grace 68th Emmy® Awards Red Carpet

Glitz, glamour and Tinseltown’s best will be part of the 68th Emmy® Awards which will broadcast on Monday 19 September, on M-Net channel 101 at 02:00, and during prime time, on the same day at 19:30. And because M-Net is the home of firsts, M-Net Movies brand ambassador Lalla Hirayama and her crew will grace the red carpet for the very first time, talking to A-Listers as they breeze past the cameras. Viewers will be thrilled to know that they can catch Red Carpet: Lalla Land at the Emmys during Monday’s broadcast.

lalaemmy2016Lalla is no stranger to red carpets: this past year the resident beauty of Lallaland has travelled to the biggest movie premieres, (microphone and a little obsession in hand), to get exclusive glimpses at this year’s blockbuster films. From being complimented by Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), to getting to know Matt Damon and Julia Stiles (Jason Bourne), our charming Lalla has interviewed the brightest of Hollywood’s superstars. She also got a chance to walk the pink carpet for the highly-anticipated European premiere of Suicide Squad, getting exclusive interviews with the ensemble cast.

Add to the fact that comedy staples Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson (Central Intelligence) and Seth Rogen and Zac Efron (Bad Neighbours 2) were unable to resist our brand ambassador, and we’ve got ourselves the perfect girl for television’s most prestigious awards ceremony. On Wednesday, 14 September, the final countdown for the 68th Emmy Awards began with the longest red carpet rollout in Emmy history, literally kicked off by host Jimmy Kimmel, Executive Producer Don Mischer and Television Academy Chairman/CEO Bruce Rosenblum, who collectively unrolled the soon-to-be treasured trodden fabric outside the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

Additionally, glimpses of the Governors Ball décor were revealed, as well as the unveiling of the Chase Sapphire ReserveSM “Blue” Room, where Emmy presenters will relax before appearing onstage.

The final awards presenter for this year’s telecast will be two-time Emmy nominee, for The Night Manager, Tom Hiddleston.
