The subject of war sparks a plenitude of emotions – from bravery, heartache and courage, to the highs and lows of victory and defeat. TCM has lined up four iconic contemporary war movies that examine the many intricacies of war and the celebrated war heroes glorified in these movies. Tune-in to Channel 137 on DStv every Wednesday night, with the channel premiere of the movie We Were Soldiers, directed by Randall Wallace and starring Mel Gibson, drawing first blood on 04 January
