This week Sunday’s episode of Blind Auditions on M-Net’s hugely popular singing competition, The Voice SA, brings with it a whole new host of incredible singing talent and inspirational, heart-warming stories. Amongst the extraordinary voices gracing the iconic red and white Voice SA stage this week are the first duo of the season – a brother and sister team from Pretoria, a Grade 4 English teacher who takes on a mammoth Whitney Houston classic, a familiar face who plans to rise from the ashes of previous failed auditions and one accounting student who has never before set foot on a stage in her life.
The coaches are left speechless more than once, and the talent is so strong that viewers can expect more than one audition that is worthy of a four-chair-turn from the panel of coaches.
While Lira currently leads the pack with five talent including newest arrivals from last week, Tender Mavundla from Port Shepstone and beauty therapist Jaqueline Tolken, Kahn, Karen and Bobby also scored a diverse group of new singers in the previous show such as the eccentric Johan “Fatman” Brummer for #TeamKahn, stylish and soulful Lindo Sithole for #TeamKaren and chemical engineer Marco Basson for #TeamBobby, to name a few.
With rocker Karen Zoid only having two talent in her team so far, will she catch up to rival songstress Lira and convince the fresh, exciting new voices on the show this week to pick her as their mentor?
