Opening in cinemas on 28 April 2017, the highly anticipated American crime-drama ‘Sleepless’ stars the multi-talented Jamie Foxx and rapper T.I. as a pair of corrupt Las Vegas cops who defy the odds to rescue someone close to the them.
Set in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, undercover police officer Vincent Downs (Jamie Foxx) finds himself caught in a web of corrupt cops, internal affairs and ruthless gangsters. When a failed heist leads to the kidnapping of his teenage son (Octavius J. Johnson), Downs must race against time to save him and bring the criminals to justice.
The movie takes you on a suspense filled chase through the streets of Las Vegas, into some of the most popular nightclubs and casinos in the city. We see the characters defend each other, betray their loved ones and lie in the pursuit of seeking the ultimate truth.
‘Sleepless’ is the remake of the 2011 French thriller ‘Sleepless Nigh’t (Nuit blanche) which is remarkably faithful to its source material. This high action film also stars Michelle Monaghan, Dermot Mulroney, David Harbour, Gabrielle Union and Scoot McNairy.
