It’s Knock-Out Time On The Voice SA

The Voice SA Knock-Outs
Crunch time for singers in brand new phase

The bigger, better Season 2 of SAFTA-winning The Voice SA will introduce a new round to the competition, commencing this Sunday, 30 April. The tense Knock-Out rounds will be familiar to M-Net viewers who have watched the American version of the show before, and in this year’s season, this gruelling round will ultimately determine which four singers from each team will be singing for the public’s vote in the Live shows of the series.

In the Knock-Outs, each talent prepares a song of their own choice to perform solo for their coach. On the night, each coach – one-by-one – will summon their team of eight performers to the stage together. Then and there, the coach will reveal which singer will perform against which. In other words, the coach decides who to pair up against whom, but unlike the Battle rounds, the pairs will take turns to perform their own songs. After both talent have performed, their coach will have to make the agonising decision of which one to take through to the Live shows, and which of them will go home. There are no Steals and no Saves, meaning the stakes are higher than ever. By the end of the Knock-Outs, there will be 16 singers in total heading to the Live shows to sing for South Africa’s votes.

“If you think the Battles were tough, wait for The Knock-Outs,” says M-Net’s Head of Publicity, Lani Lombard. “You can feel the tension in the air while the talent waits for his or her turn to take to the stage.”

First up this week are last year’s winning coach’s performers: #TeamKahn:

Al Petersen (28) from Cape Town started her journey on The Voice SA in #TeamLira after her rendition of the Bob Marley and Lauren Hill classic “Turn Your Lights Down Low” resonated with the soulful songstress. In the first Battle rounds of the season, coach Kahn Morbee surprised everyone with a pre-emptive Steal when Al battled against team mate Jacqueline Tolken. Even before Lira had to pick between the two ladies’ powerful voices, Kahn announced that he would take either of them for his team, no matter which contender Lira chose. In the end Lira opted for Jacqueline, so for the Knock-Outs, funky Al will compete in #TeamKahn.

Aston Wylie (24) was Kahn’s second Steal of the season as he poached another member of #TeamLira. The smooth-toned singer from Gonubie experienced an unusual turn of events in his Battle against rocker Luke Lovemore (23). In Aston’s case not only one but two of the coaches immediately showed their interest to become his new mentor after coach Lira dropped him in favour of Luke. Before Lira had made the call to go with Luke, she said a quiet prayer for a Steal, as she admired both Luke and Aston’s hard work during rehearsals and their wonderful performance of the R.E.M classic “Losing My Religion”. Surprisingly, her prayer was answered by Bobby van Jaarsveld and Kahn Morbee. They both believed that Aston has what it takes to be the next winner of the show. The double Steal meant that both coaches had to do what normally happens during the Blind Auditions – they had to pitch to persuade Aston to continue his music journey with them. Aston picked Kahn.

Edgy Craig Lucas (24) from Elsiesrivier in Cape Town battled Dylan Pretorius (31) from Pretoria in the previous phase of the competition, as coach Kahn felt that these singers were perfect for what he called “anthemic rock”, so he chose the Muse version of the classic “Feeling Good” for them. It was a powerhouse duet but Kahn described Craig as “the love child of Freddy Mercury and John Legend” and couldn’t resist picking him. Craig came in strong during the Blind auditions as his cover of The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” earned him four chair turns from the coaches. Having studied Politics and Economics at UCT, it seems that Craig may just have to put a corporate career path on the back burner for now, as he heads into the Knock-Outs representing #TeamKahn.

Fatman (40) is by far the biggest personality on Season 1-winning coach Kahn’s team this year. The full time music teacher from Bela-Bela earned himself a spot on Kahn’s team in the Blind auditions by singing an impressive version of “Walking in Memphis” by Marc Cohn. In the Battle rounds, Kahn paired the larger-than-life Fatman with classical singer and harpist Christy-Lyn Marais (28) from Cape Town. The unusual pair were tasked to sing the pop-rock love song “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane and it ended up being a Battle for the books. “That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen,” Karen Zoid remarked. Kahn complimented both talent on a super performance, comparing Christy-Lyn to the ethereal Tori Amos, and telling Fatman that he’s grown to become incredibly fond of him. Ultimately Kahn chose the singer who he thought had more to offer in terms of the competition as a whole. Viewers will see Fatman reinvent himself once more in the Knock-Outs.

Freddy Lalendle (23) received four chair turns from all of the coaches in the Blind auditions, as his incredibly unique, raspy voice was something that they’d never heard before. For his Battle, coach Kahn pitted the unlikely duo “Symphony” – Charl Estherhuizen (21) and Christopher Mabasa (28) from Witbank – against 23-year-old Freddy from Durban, because “Freddie kinda has two voices,” he pointed out. Kahn assigned his singers Alex Clare’s hit “Too Close” and he was very happy with their performances. “If I was the crying type there would be a tear in my eye!” he joked. But he could to choose only one act, and that act was Freddie, because his Indie-style voice is “money,” said Kahn. His fellow coaches agreed, and with that, Freddy made it into the next phase of the show.

Kirby Jo (23) from Cape Town wowed Kahn with the amazing tone of her voice in her very first Blind Audition. In the Battle rounds, coach Kahn had his work cut out for him when Kirby and Leote “Lee” Taylor (31) from Pretoria made Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” their own. The coaches sympathized with Kahn Morbee on his difficult choice. “Kahnnie, ek kahn-nie vir jou sê nie,’ Lira even joked! Even though he thought that Lee was the more complete performer, he gave it deep thought… and chose an overwhelmed Kirby to progress further in his team. Now it’s time for Kirby to make the stage her own in the Knock-Out phase of the series.

Mia Pretorius (20) is an Education student from Potchefstroom but has been singing for most of her life. Kahn turned his chair for Mia in the Blind auditions when she bravely covered a Bobby van Jaarsveld song – showing off her flawless vocals. Kahn paired Mia up against her best friend in the competition – Sonia Morsner (24) – in the Battle rounds and gave them the Taylor Swift hit “Blank Space” as their duel song. From the get-go they managed to nail their performances, meaning that Kahn’s job of choosing which singer to take into the Knock-Outs was made even harder. After a flawless Battle, Lira was leaning more towards Sonia as the winner, while Karen felt that Mia should take the win. After much deliberation, Kahn picked Mia due to the confidence that she demonstrated on stage.

Soulful Zee Gqamana (23) is an Information Science Honours graduate but music has always been her passion. She won herself a spot on #TeamKahn during the Blind auditions with her toned down version of Asa’s “Jailer” and in the Battle rounds, Kahn gave Zee and her Battle partner Monique Hellenberg (33) from Cape Town the Fleetwood Mac classic “Go Your Own Way” as their Battle song. Having enlisted the help of multi-award winning recording artist Elvis Blue to be #TeamKahn’s co-coach, Zee and Monique went about rehearsing tirelessly for their big show-down. “You can see that both of these strong vocalists are very hungry to make it through,” Elvis observed ahead of the Battle, and both ladies performed accordingly. Karen said that Zee’s performance resonated with her from the start, and Lira agreed with her. In the end, Kahn sided with his fellow female coaches and picked Zee and her “seductive voice” to advance into the next rounds.

New Look And Upgrades On The Cards For Ster-Kinekor’s East Rand Mall Cinema Complex

A makeover is on the cards for Ster-Kinekor’s cinema complex at East Rand Mall in Boksburg, in line with the company’s vision to ensure that every cinema experience for its customers is a ‘great moment’.

“We constantly assess the state of our complexes across the country and our cinemas at East Rand Mall are in need of some refurbishment,” states Wanda Matandela, CEO of Ster-Kinekor Theatres. “As such, we will close the complex for the months of May and June to complete the upgrades without compromising our customers’ experience.”

The facelift will affect the main cinema foyer, which will undergo a complete redevelopment and modernisation, and all nine cinemas. The bathrooms will also be refitted, and all the air conditioning units throughout the complex will be replaced with upgraded units. This will entail major construction, and the cinemas will be closed from 03 May till 30 June 2017.

“Only once the entire complex has been upgraded will we reopen the site to the public. During the construction period, we will revamp the foyer area and the bathrooms, and install new air con units. At the same time, all the carpeting in the nine cinemas will be replaced, as they are refitted with the latest in cinema seating to ensure maximum comfort while enjoying the latest blockbusters on our big screens.”

During the renovation period, Ster-Kinekor has urged its loyal East Rand Mall customer base to continue enjoying ‘great moments at their greatest’ by visiting one of its other cinema complexes in the area. These include Eastgate with its IMAX theatre and two luxurious Cine Prestige cinemas, Festival Mall, Carnival City and Mall@Carnival.

“We do apologise to our customers for the inconvenience during the construction phase. However, we are confident that they will be delighted with the end result, which will effectively be a brand new cinema complex within a few months. We hope they will be blown away by the improvements that will go a long way to contributing to a magical time at the movies,” comments Matandela.

South African Soprana Elza Van Heever Triumphs In Role Of Elettra In Met’s Production Of Mozart’s Operatic Masterpiece, Indomeneo

Local opera lovers are in for a treat when the next production from the current Met: Live in HD season releases on the big screen at Nouveau and select Ster-Kinekor cinemas. They will have the opportunity to watch South African-born soprano, Elza van den Heever, who stars in the virtuosic role of Princess Elettra in Mozart’s first operatic masterpiece, Idomeneo, of love and vengeance following the Trojan War.

The production will be shown in Nouveau and select Ster-Kinekor cinemas from Saturday, 29 April, for limited screenings.

Elza van den Heever is joined by a stellar ensemble including Matthew Polenzani in the title role of the King of Crete, Idomeneo, with Nadine Sierra as Illia, Alice Coote as Idamante and Alan Opie as Arbace. This classic production from Jean–Pierre Ponnelle, which has its first Met revival in over a decade this season, is under the baton of the Metropolitan Opera’s famed Music Director Emeritus James Levine. He also conducted the first Met staging of this opera in 1982.

“Here is the Met at its best. … [James] Levine conducts, drawing a refined and affecting performance from the great Met orchestra and chorus and an impressive cast” (New York Times). Matthew Polenzani gives a “poignant, gripping performance” (New York Times) as the king torn by a rash vow; mezzo-soprano Alice Coote “exudes noble passion and dignity” (Financial Times) in the trouser role of his noble son Idamante; soprano Nadine Sierra sings “with expressivity and tenderness” (New York Times) as the princess Ilia; and soprano Elza van den Heever “triumphs” (New York Times) as the volatile Elettra, who loves Idamante to the bounds of madness.

The opera was first performed at the Court Theatre (now the Cuvilliés Theatre) in Munich in 1781, conducted by the 25-year-old Mozart and starring the great 18th-century tenor Anton Raaff. Idomeneo is set in Crete, about 1200 BC. Helen, the wife of King Menelaus of Greece, has been carried off by Paris, son of King Priam of Troy, triggering the Trojan War. As she is also the sister-in-law of Agamemnon, several Greek kings allied with him have joined forces to lay siege to the city of Troy. One of these kings is Idomeneo (Idomeneus) of Crete. Having been away for many years, Idomeneo has, prior to his victorious return, sent ahead of him some Trojan captives, including Priam’s daughter, the Princess Ilia. On her arrival in Crete she is rescued from a storm by Idomeneo’s young son, Idamante, who has ruled as regent in his father’s absence. The two have fallen in love. Princess Elettra, daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra, also loves Idamante. After Elettra and her brother, Oreste, killed their mother and her lover, she was forced to flee their home in Argos and has taken refuge in Crete.

Screening times for Idomeneo at Nouveau (Rosebank Mall, JHB; Brooklyn Mall, PTA; SK Gateway Commercial, DBN; and V&A Waterfront, CT) and select Ster-Kinekor cinemas are as follows: 29 April at 17:00; 30 April at 14:30; 02 and 10 May at 11:30; and 09 May at 18:00. All the ticket discounts and benefits offered to members of the Ster-Kinekor loyalty programmes, SK Club, Discovery Vitality and Edgars Club, do apply for the Met: Live in HD screenings, where applicable.

The running time of Idomeneo is 4hrs, including two intervals.

The Infiltrator (DVD) : Review

Film

The Infiltrator, based upon the true events of one man against the biggest drug cartel in history. A U. S. Customs official, Robert Mazur (Bryan Cranston – Power Rangers, In Dubious Battle), uncovers a money laundering operation that involves a long list of high profile criminals, including columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

Set in the 80’s the film has a feel of nostalgia to it, brought on by the costumes, sets, and advanced surveillance technology for the time period.

WIth the ensemble of talent in the cast, a gripping story, the film is paced to build tension, as well as allow us a sampling of the stress that must have been felt by Robert, others involved in the case, and the Mazur family alike. Keeping this tension at just the right level throughout, this makes for a very enjoyable story. Partnering two agents, one on the verge of retirement in the form of Mazur, and another, Kathy Ertz (Diane Kruger) on her first undercover assignment provides a balance that adds to the very fluidity of the films dynamic.

Plot-wise, the story is straightforward enough, building tension as it moves towards the inevitable conclusion, via an enthralling tale. Great direction, set design, and a talented cast bring the many true-life characters to life, and will certainly keep anyone entertained. The Infiltrator is a top quality film, about some very interesting events.

Disc

Overall, the disc is of a high quality. Lacking in bonus features, but with a solid main feature.

The Infiltrator is available now, to purchase on disc, in South Africa.

Video

Video is encoded at a high average bitrate. There are no visible artefacts on screen, nor any colour bleed. Colours are vibrant in many scenes (the exceptions being part of the scene, and through no fault of the disc). Detail is maintained in darker scenes.

Viewers with the necessary hardware or software could scale up to a larger or higher resolution screen, should they wish.

Audio

Audio is encoded at a high average bitrate. Sound is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 soundtracks. On the surround track, dialogue is clear via the centre channel, with the front channels carrying the rest of the sound. The surround channels are used, but with not as much distinct panning as might be expected from an action film. These serve more to expand the on-screen story, and further draw the viewer into the events taking place.

Navigation

After the obligatory warning notices that auto-play on most DVD’s, the disc navigates to the main menu. No previews, or anything.

The main menu has some background shots from the film, with accompanying music, with a simple and easy to use main menu, providing links to play the main feature, scene selection, and audio selection.

The two scene sub-menus provide ten static, colour thumbnails each. While these are numbered, they are not labelled, meaning some guesswork is needed when looking for a specific part of the film.

Bonus Features

There are no bonus features of any kind on the disc. Not even the usual trailers that auto-play at the beginning of many discs. A bit of a disappointment.

The Voice SA: Final Knock-out Talent Revealed!

The final Knock-Out talent revealed!
Two more Steals as coaches fill their teams of 8
Tonight’s episode of The Voice SA finally revealed which remaining talent will be going through to the grueling Knock-Out stages, commencing next week. There were two last Steals, courtesy of coaches Bobby van Jaarsveld and Lira, as six talent in total edged their way into the Knock-Outs.

It was an even more nail biting episode of the series than usual, as the last 12 singers competed for the coaches to lock down their team selections in the midst of some phenomenal Battle sing-offs. For coach Karen Zoid’s first Battle, she pitted Marissa Petzer (22) from Stilfontein against Celest Schoeman (28) from Cape Town, both powerhouse vocalists who received four chair turns from the coaches in the Blind auditions. She assigned them the power ballad “Ain’t No Other Man” by Christina Aguilera, and coach Bobby van Jaarsveld thought their performance was “flippin’ phenomenal!”. Coach Karen had a difficult choice to make, and despite having mentored Marissa’s boyfriend Almur Marais into the finals last year, she opted to take Celest through to the Knock-Outs.

“I wanted Celest,” Lira quietly confessed to Bobby after Karen had made her decision known, but after a few moments of thinking it over, she implemented her final Steal of the season to secure Marissa for #TeamLira!

The second and final Steal of the Battle rounds came courtesy of a high-energy #TeamLira sing-off. Bryce MacMillan (28) from Johannesburg and Durban’s effervescent Bubbles Mnomiya (23) were up against each other, because Lira recognised that they both enjoy Soul music. And to exploit that to the fullest she assigned them Charlie Puth’s hit “Marvin Gaye”. It was a titanic Battle and Lira was ecstatic. “My pride and joy!” she exclaimed. Lira admitted that neither artist was better than the other, so her choice was tough, but she eventually settled on taking Bubbles through to the next rounds. Fortunately, coach Bobby still had that one last Steal left up his sleeve, and so Bryce became the 7th member of #TeamBobby.

With all the Steals gone, the stakes were higher for the remaining performers of the night. #TeamBobby’s Alex Cavan (23) from Port Elizabeth and Jean Citto (24) from Cape Town performed “Magic!” by Rude, but unfortunately Karen was critical of Alex’s performance because he had turned his back on the audience during the Battle. “It bothered me as well, “Lira admitted. But Coach Kahn still said that Alex would have been his winner – “that’s someone I would want to watch perform,” he said. Having listened to his colleagues’ input, Bobby decided to choose Alex after all.

For his final Battle, coach Kahn pitted the unlikely duo “Symphony” – Charl Estherhuizen (21) and Christopher Mabasa (28) from Witbank – against 23-year-old Freddy Lalendla from Durban, because “Freddie kinda has two voices,” he pointed out. Kahn assigned his singers Alex Clare’s hit “Too Close” and he was very happy with their performances. “If I was the crying type there would be a tear in my eye!” he joked. But he could to choose only one act, and that act was Freddie, because his voice is “money,” said Kahn.

Coach Bobby went into his last Battle with 19-year-old John-James Janse van Rensburg from Carletonville and Chad Jubber (19) from Durban, and because they’re both so young he chose a modern ballad for them: Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man”. Coach Bobby pointed out to Chad that his very name, “Chadwick”, means “Battle”. “You belong on the battlefield,” he said. But in the end the final place on #TeamBobby went to John-James, whose sincere performance spoke to his coach.

The very final Battle of the season was between #TeamKaren’s most experienced talent, professional singer Veronique Lalouette (35) from Johannesburg and Durban vocal coach Sam Landers (30). “You’re the ‘vocal acrobats’ on the team,” Karen told them, so she assigned them the very challenging Mika hit “Grace Kelly” to perform. Co-coach Emo Adams helped them with some dramatic choreography, resulting in a spectacular ending to The Voice SA Season 2 Battles phase. “This is one of the most difficult songs ever!” Bobby marveled, which meant that coach Karen had a very difficult choice to make. In the end, the final singer to make it through to the Knock-Outs was Veronique.

The Knock-Outs are a brand new addition to the bigger, better Season 2 of The Voice SA, but viewers who have watched the American version of the show will be familiar with this tense round of the competition, which will ultimately determine which 4 singers from each team will be singing for the public’s vote in the Live shows of the series.

The talent competing in #TeamKaren’s Knock-Outs are:
Lindo Sithole
Samantha Leonard
Emma Ellis
PJ Pretorius
Celest Schoeman
Veronique Lalouette

And her two Steals: Amanda Faku and Richard “Rick” Jansen.

#TeamLira comprises:
Jacqueline Tolken
Tender Mavundla
Luke Lovemore
Andrew Snyders
Spha Mdlalose
Bubbles Mnomiya

And her Steals: Dylan Pretorius and Marissa Petzer

#TeamKahn’s Top 8 are:
Zee Gqamana
Mia Pretorius
Fatman
Kirby Jo
Craig Lucas
Freddie Lalendla

And his two Steals: Aston Wylie and Al Petersen.

And #TeamBobby’s Knock-Out singers are:
Dawie de Jager
Caroline Brussow
Josh Ansley
Marco Basson
John-James Janse van Rensburg
Alex Cavan

And his Steals: Armand Joubert and Bryce MacMillan

New Local Chick Flick Droomdag Premieres Exclusively On DStv’s BoxOffice Service

DStv’s popular movie rental service, BoxOffice, is making history with its first-ever exclusive release of a local film. The new chick flick Droomdag, produced under the kyKNET Film banner, will premiere on BoxOffice on Monday, 24 April instead of following the normal distribution path from cinema to rental to TV.

Droomdag is the brainchild of legendary actor, screen writer and film and television producer Willie Esterhuizen, known for mass appeal sitcoms like Vetkoekpaleis, Orkney Snork Nie and Molly and Wors and several raucous comedies including Lipstiek Dipstiek, Poena is Koning and Stoute Boudjies.

While there are traces of Willie’s trademark style in the movie, Droomdag is a romantic film that’s unapologetically aimed at a female audience. It tells the story of Tanya Stark, a beautiful young woman with some hang-ups about her body who always falls for the wrong man. Then, when she least expects it, she gets a taste of true love. But how long will happiness last?

Willie decided to go the “chick flick” route after his daughters questioned his affinity for creating shallow “men behaving badly” movies. “I told them that I’m up for the challenge to write a film with female leads,” he explains. And that’s not all! The lead role would stretch the actress and give her the opportunity to move between comedy and tragedy and everything in between. If you can believe my wife and daughter, Droomdag lived up to the expectation. In fact, they were surprised that I knew so much about the female psyche and will be watching me now!”

Juanita de Villiers is the leading lady who is stretching her acting muscles in the role of Tanya Stark. The film also stars seasoned actresses Natania van Heerden and Sharleen Surtie-Richards, as well as a bevy of girls including Greta Keet, Maki Mokitli, Keyuri Naidoo, Adriana Faling and Leandry Smith.

Soapie star Marcus Miller from Egoli and Villa Rosa fame is the guy who sweeps Droomdag’s heroine off her feet and another familiar television face Kaz McFadden is her best friend Nolan. Also keep an eye out for Thiart Li, also known as former Idols SA contestant Shenay. Some of the other parts are played by Neels Clasen and Dambuza Nqumashe.

“We’re honoured to premiere Droomdag exclusively on our BoxOffice service,” says Aletta Alberts, General Manager for Content for MultiChoice. “In the past year Afrikaans local films have performed exceptionally well on our BoxOffice service and the overwhelming number of rentals of films such as Vir Altyd, Vir die Voëls and As Jy Sing indicate that our customers love romantic dramas and comedy with a strong South African flavour.”

Droomdag was produced by Westel Films, the production company of Willie and Pieter Esterhuizen, with the assistance of M-Net and kykNET Films.

DStv customers can rent Droomdag on BoxOffice from Monday, 24 April – either online or through their PVRs. The movie is available to non-DStv customers through BoxOffice online.

Lion (DVD) : Review

Film

The multi-award nominated, and much talked about movie, Lion, is now available on disc. Based on the true story of a five year old Indian boy who is separated from his brother and becomes lost on the chaotic streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from his home. Through sheer willpower, he survives many frightening challenges until he is eventually adopted by a couple from Australia.

25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family, back in India. This journey itself, proving to be fraught with challenges, both physical and emotional.

The boy, Saroo, played as a child by Sunny Pawar and when older by Dev Patel (Chappie), is one of those characters that garners instant like from an audience. Feeling every emotion, as one both empathises with him, and seeks to help him. The performances delivered by these two are nothing short of astounding, bringing the young and older together, forming one composite character.

Ably supported by the talents of Nicole Kidman, as step-mother Sue Brierley and Rooney Mara (Her) as friend Lucy, the ensemble are a talented mix.

Mix with this, some great cinematography, a gripping story, a true one at that, and Lion makes for riveting viewing, peppered with much emotion. A fantastic tale of overcoming, survival, and love, showing how we as humans can help those in desperate need, or take advantage of the less fortunate.

Lion is an excellent film, and most certainly deserves the amounts of high praise it receives. It is most deserving of the nominations it received, including best film at the Oscars. Lion could not be recommended enough. A must see.

Disc

Overall, the disc is of a high technical quality, with an excellent film as the main feature. There are no special features, but would those really be missed with a film of this calibre?

Lion is available now, to purchase on disc, in South Africa.

Video

Video is encoded at a high average bitrate. There are no visible artefacts on-screen. There is no visible colour bleed, and detail is maintained in darker scenes.

Viewers with the relevant hardware or software can scale up to a larger, or higher resolution screen, should they wish.

Audio

Audio is encoded at a high average bitrate. Dialogue is clear via the centre speaker, with the weight of the soundtrack carried by the front channels.

There is a choice between a Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 mix. The surround channels are used to effect in certain scenes, in order to expand the on-screen world, and further draw the viewer into the story. But, given the drama genre of the film, there is not an over use of these channels.

Navigation

Main navigation is simple, and easy to use. The main menu is a static one, with accompanying music. There are text links to play the main feature, select chapters, and choose audio.

The chapters sub-menu has four motion, colour thumbnails, which are numbered. These are however not accompanied by any sort of description, so an amount of guesswork would be involved in trying to navigate to a particular section of the main feature.

The audio sub-menu offers only choices for a 5.1 or 2.0 soundtrack mix.

Bonus Features

There are unfortunately no bonus features on the disc, other than trailers for Denial, Jackie and the game Lego Star Wars: Rogue One, that auto-play at the beginning of the disc. There is no way to access these again, from the disc, other than re-inserting it into the player.

These trailers can be fast-forwarded, but not individually skipped.
