“Heartbeats” Graces The Big Screen This June

Opening in cinemas on 30th June 2017. This East meets West movie tells the tale of love and romance through the art of dance.

Directed and written by Duane Adler, who is previously well-known for his work on blockbuster titles such as Save the Last Dance and Step Up, Adler’s work is recognised widely for his daring and romantic musical movies which aim to push the boundaries.

In the movie we see the American protagonist Kelii (Krystal Ellsworth) accidentally meet the man of her dreams, Aseem (Amitash Pradhan), while attending a family wedding in India.

Jay Z’s Roc Nation is producing the soundtrack’s original songs alongside composer Gingger Shankar, an Oscar nominee for The Passion Of The Christ. The soundtrack will feature traditional and current Indian music and American hip-hop and R&B.

While not classified specifically as a Bollywood film, this has an appeal to fans of the genre which increasingly span the globe.
