About THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD in Nu Metro 4DX (from 18 August 2017):

4DX will give cinemagoers a jolt of multi-sensory power, and make them a part of the action in THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD – starring Samuel L Jackson and Ryan Reynolds. The seats will move in sync with the car chases; air and water bursts will make the gunshots and other action moves come to life in sync with the on-screen action. 4DX deploys these effects along with wind, fog and other unique ambient experiences to take movie fans to a new level of immersive entertainment.

Movies are now no longer bound by their visual and aural limits. 4DX is the next step in the movie-going evolution, taking audiences on a journey into the full feature film.

The 4DX cinema experience can be found at Nu Metro Emperors Palace (Jhb), Hyde Park (Jhb), Menlyn Park (Pta), V&A Waterfront (CT) and The Pavilion (Dbn). Nu Metro is the first and only cinema group to premier the revolutionary 4DX cinema format in Africa.

About THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD in Nu Metro Xtreme (from 18 August 2017):

Nu Metro Xtreme features Premium Large Format-screens, showcasing films with spectacular effect on the largest, brightest screens in the country. This superior screen quality is combined with the latest cinema audio systems at the upper end of technological advancement, moving beyond the confines of “stereo” or “surround” sound from the past.

Dolby Atmos and Auro 11.1 3D sound deliver full all-around sound, including overhead speakers; sound objects can literally be moved around in 3D space through speaker equipment installed above-spec. The best in sound amplifies the crispest, clearest RealD projection systems along with 4K Ultra High Definition visual quality in Xtreme cinemas.

THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD in Xtreme will shake cinemagoers in their seats with Big sound on massive cinema screens, and give them a movie experience like no other – delivering the film with impact as the filmmakers intended. Nu Metro Xtreme is made for movie fans who want the best in sound and image, and beyond – which can only be showcased in a large-format movie theatre environment.

Xtreme is located at Nu Metro Canal Walk (largest screen in the Western Cape), Clearwater Mall (Johannesburg), Menlyn Park (Pretoria), The Glen (Johannesburg) and the recently-opened Ballito Junction (largest screen in KwaZulu-Natal). Nu Metro Xtreme incorporates three of the four Dolby Atmos cinemas currently operating in South Africa.
