Jake is the captain now but the adventures don’t stop. With ghosts, pharaohs and robot sharks attacking the Mighty Colossus, he and his crew have a lot to do. This is the latest season of Disney Junior’s Emmy and Annie Awards-winning animated series for preschoolers.

Rapulana Seiphemo won Best Actor Awards at both Durban and FESPACO for his role as Lucky Kunene, infamous for hijacking buildings in Hillbrow. The crime thriller was South Africa’s official entry for the Oscars and won the Audience Award at Durban, among other accolades.

NEED A LAUGH?

South Park (S21 express from the US)
Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have said they’re moving away from the ‘Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich’ election commentary of the previous season towards one-off, episodic storylines and more kids-being-kids moments like Cartman messing with Butters. South Park lost to Bob’s Burgers at last month’s Emmy Awards but has been on a serious roll, with five Emmy wins and seven nominations in the last 13 years.
