Game of Thrones themed wedding vs. a nautical destination wedding in Port Alfred
Coming up on the penultimate episode of M-Net’s The Wedding Bashers this week, celebrity wedding guests Cindy Nell, Denise Zimba, Siba Mtongana and Zavion Kotze attend Gaylene and Matthew’s special day at the beautiful Sun Valley Golf Club in Westerberg. The pair’s dress-up Game of Thrones themed wedding included executioners, wild boars and tequila! The couple spent a noble R110 000 on their special day, but did their themed wedding meet the Bashers’ expectations?
After their medieval experience in Alberton, the celebrities then head to Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape for the nuptial celebrations of Sinead and Timothy. The Johannesburg couple chose the beautiful Halyards Hotel for their elegant sea-side holiday town wedding, which included 75 vacationing guests. The wedding planning proved to be a challenge for the pair, as everything had to be outsourced from the surrounding towns. However, the resourceful couple managed to keep their budget under R50 000, having done all the décor themselves and with the help of family and friends.
But did the newlyweds manage to pull off the wedding of their dreams, considering it was held 1000km’s from home? With the grand finale just around the corner on 3 December, both Sinead and Timothy as well as Gaylene and Matthew will no doubt be eagerly waiting to see their scores from the celebrity guests.
