Kick Off 2018 With The Best Of Hollywood On M-Net

With a stunning line-up of exclusive award-winning series, M-Net is starting the year off with a bang. Direct from Hollywood comes some of the most talked about shows that promises to keep viewers on their couches for the long- but wonderfully entertaining- months of January and February.

Here’s quick summary of the upcoming M-Net 101 slate this January:

A prime time favourite Blue Bloods returns to M-Net with season 8 this January on Wednesdays at 20:00. One of the longest running crime dramas, Blue Bloods follows a multigenerational family of cops dedicated to law enforcement in New York City.

With or without the cape, the whole family can enjoy Superhero adventures every weekday at 16:45 exclusively on M-Net.

The epic action-adventure Supergirl season 3, the Man of Steel’s powerful, kick-butt cousin swoops in to save the day every Monday. Then, on Tuesdays, Stephen Amell returns as billionaire Oliver Queen aka vigilante hero Green Arrow in the sixth season of Arrow, which quickly deals with the fallout from last season. On Wednesdays the temporal travails continue in the fourth season of The Flash, where viewers will find the speedster quite changed after being brought out of the Speed Force. And just when its discovered that heroes may not be enough, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 3 kicks off on Thursdays with the rag-tag group of villains in tow. Rounding out the week’s fantasy offering is the Emmy-nominated Once Upon A Time season 7 on Fridays, where a now grown up Henry Mills embarks on a new journey with real-life fairy-tale characters.

Also on the table this January is the popular reality cooking competition MasterChef Australia season 9 every weekday at 17:45, where regular judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston create kitchen magic alongside this season’s batch of aspiring amateur chefs.

The ever-anticipated Golden Globe and Emmy-winning medical drama Grey’s Anatomy has everyone asking, what’s in store for season 14? Find out from tonight, Monday, 15 January with two back-to-back episodes at 19:00 and 20:00, as the television favourites from Grey Sloan hospital return with a new arrival: Owen Hunt’s long-lost sister.

Tension between the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok mount as the Vikings continue to threaten the very heart of England in season 5 of Vikings, starting tonight, Monday 15 January at 22:05. With Ragnar gone and Lagertha at the helm, an interesting saga awaits the Norse heroes.

Then, on Thursday 18 January meet up with television’s favourite undercover agents at 19:00 in the acclaimed NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 starring the seasoned LL Cool J and Chris O’Donnell. This season features a special guest appearance from Nia Long. There’s more crime-fighting action on the streets of LA with former Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore in the brand-new action-packed S.W.A.T season 1, starting Thursday 18 January at 20:00. And if you can’t get enough of that special agent action, don’t miss the film S.W.A.T: Under Siege scheduled on M-Net 101 on Saturday, 20 January at 23:00.

The popular legal drama, Bull is back on air with its second season on Thursdays at 21:00. Michael Weatherly returns as the charismatic, charming and smart-talking legal consultant whose unique firm helps clients prep for trials using revolutionary psychological techniques.

The show that continues to capture the hearts of viewers around the world, This is Us season 2 returns for another Golden Globe-nominated and Emmy Award-winning instalment. More compelling than ever, this season continues to dig deeper into the lives of the Pearsons exploring their flaws and tragedies as well as their triumphs and achievements from Monday 22 January at 20:00.

Based on the acclaimed film of the same name, the dark Brit dramedy Snatch season 1 sees small-time criminal Albert Hill getting sucked into the high-stakes world of organised crime from Thursday 25 January at 22:00. Then, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are joined by songstresses Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson for season 13 of the Emmy-winning reality singing competition The Voice US on Friday 26 January at 19:00.
