Football: UEFA Champions League Quarter Finals

The UEFA Champions League moves into its most exciting phase yet this week – it’s the Quarter Finals, so the pressure will be on as the best of the best come up against each other. Ajax takes on Juventus, Liverpool meets Porto, Tottenham comes up against favourites Man City and Man United has everything to play for against Barcelona.

Liverpool v Porto

Liverpool’s on form at the moment, on par with Manchester City in the running for the title, so Porto will have their work cut out for them. Watch it live on SS5 on Tues 9 Apr at 8.50pm

Tottenham v Man City

Tottenham’s been having a great season, but they are up against the mighty Man City, who have already won the League Cup and are through to the FA Cup Quarter Finals. But this is the cup they want most of all, so they are going to be tough to beat. Watch it live on SS3 on Tues 9 Apr at 8.50pm

Man United v Barcelona

Man United’s caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær has led the team to 14 wins in his first 17 games, proving he’s definitely one to watch and putting his team’s hopes right up there. Barcelona has had some ups and downs, largely due to Lionel Messi’s injury, but will also be hungry for this title. Watch it live on SS3 on Weds 10 Apr at 8.50pm

Ajax v Juventus

Can Cristiano Ronaldo take on the challenge of leading Juventus to a win? That’s what his fans will be hoping for, but Ajax has had some stunning successes recently, so it’s going to be a hard-fought victory. Watch it live on SS5 on Weds 10 Apr at 9pm

Soccer: PSL

South African football fans can look forward to a week of riveting Absa Premier League action – and live TV coverage on SuperSport. Some of the biggest teams clashing include Kaizer Chiefs v Baroka FC, Bidvest Wits v Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns v SuperSport United.

Emirates Lions vs Cell C Sharks

Out of the 15 teams involved in the 25 matches, the Lions face the tallest order. The Johannesburg side, finalists in the past three seasons, beginning with a home match against the Sharks. Watch it live on SS1 on Fri 5 Apr at 7.10pm

Vodacom Bulls vs Jaguares

The Vodacom Bulls are proving to be on form this season, with some decisive wins to their name. The Jaguares recently received a walloping from the Stormers, so their confidence is probably dented, leaving the home side hopeful for victory. Watch it live on SS1 on Sat 6 Apr at 3.05pm

World Rugby: HSBC Sevens World Series

It’s been described as the “soul of world sevens” and fans will be delighted with this exciting leg of the series that takes place in Hong Kong. It consistently draws the best crowds of all the tournaments, and the vibe is certain to be electric. The Blitzboks are in a desirable position, having been drawn in the same group as Samoa, Scotland and Japan.

Thrown together against their will, they form part of an elite task force taking on the world’s most wanted criminals.

Meanwhile, Tariq pulls yet another of his devious moves, and the Feds are getting closer to finding Ghost’s true identity.

What mattered was how he used it.
