Experience matters. And with NVIDIA Quadro Experience — a new application for Quadro GPUs — professionals across industries can boost their creativity and increase their productivity like never before.

Quadro Experience, available now, helps professionals simplify time-consuming tasks, streamline workflows and ensure your favorite applications always have the latest updates.

Content Share From Anywhere

NVIDIA Quadro Experience makes sharing content easier by providing screen capture and desktop recording in 4K, so teams can easily upload content and even broadcast their work directly from their desktop or laptop.

Users can quickly access the screenshot and desktop video recording features from within any application or workflow, and conveniently retrieve assets from a user-defined repository.

The Instant Replay feature automatically records up to the last 20 minutes of desktop activity, so professionals can capture spontaneous moments or rewind to review previous activities.

Compatibility with the NVIDIA SHIELD device makes live streaming directly from a desktop to multiple viewers simple. Leverage your existing SHIELD device for an easy sharing experience for presentations, trainings and meetings.

Get Updates on the Latest Drivers

Regularly get increased performance, improved driver stability and new features for your system with Quadro Experience. The application automatically notifies users on new driver releases, so they can implement the latest capabilities as soon as they’re available.

Driver highlights are delivered directly to Quadro Experience whenever new drivers are available to help users determine whether they’re ready to make an immediate update.

With simple one-click downloads and installations directly from Quadro Experience, it’s easier to ensure that your Quadro driver is updated and optimized, as well as certified by all your favorite applications.

Work by Day, Game by Night

With Quadro Experience, it doesn’t have to be all work and no play. Users can switch their Quadro GPU to Game Mode to unleash optimal gaming performance.

The application delivers features similarly offered through GeForce Experience, such as Ansel, Freestyle and Highlights. Users can take advantage of Optimal Playable Settings — which are in-game settings that aim to enhance image quality and framerates — and stream gameplay to NVIDIA SHIELD devices.

NVIDIA Quadro Experience is already helping companies enhance their collaborative efforts. One of the beta users of the application is Alstom, builder of the TGV, the fastest train in the world.

Project review and customization are important parts of Alstom’s workflows — they often use Autodesk VRED for design review and rendering and Dassault Systèmes CATIA for technical review. With Quadro RTX GPUs and Quadro Experience application, Alstom was able to accelerate its design workflow and use GPU power for its graphic needs.

“Sharing professional graphics created with Quadro GPUs requires video capture capabilities that maintain pristine visual fidelity,” said Fabien Normand, virtual reality expert at Alstom. “NVIDIA Quadro Experience makes it simple to accurately capture professional graphics applications, allowing us to continually improve our customers’ VR experiences as well as our internal design workflows.”

Professional workflows are becoming more interactive and collaborative. With Quadro Experience, engineers, designers, artists, architects and other professionals can optimize the power of their Quadro GPUs.

Blackmagic Design Announces Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K Update

Blackmagic Design today announced a major new software update for the original Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K camera that adds localization for 11 languages, the ability to embed custom 3D LUTs in Blackmagic RAW clips, new customizable frame guides as well as improved behavior for function buttons. The update also adds improved compatibility for embedded audio on SDI outputs, better jam sync timecode functionality, and much more.

New software update for the original Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K
adds localization, custom LUT embedding in Blackmagic RAW files and more!

Blackmagic Camera 6.9.3 Update is available now as a free download from the Blackmagic Design website.

Blackmagic Camera 6.9.3 Update adds support for 11 different languages so it can be used internationally. The camera can be set to English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese or Korean. It’s easy to switch to another language so customers can share their camera with other crew when traveling to locations worldwide. When customers switch languages, all on screen overlays, setup menus and monitoring information will be displayed in the selected language instantly.

Customers also now have the ability to embed custom 3D LUTs in Blackmagic RAW clips, which helps to streamline production workflow. 3D LUTs can be directly embedded as metadata within the .BRAW file, making it easy to display the images with the “look” you want, maintaining creative consistency through post production. When working with software such as Davinci Resolve, it’s easy to access the 3D LUTs for editing and color correction as they always travel with the .BRAW file.

This new update also adds new features that URSA Mini Pro customers have requested such as being able to disable the HFR button to prevent accidentally changing the frame rate between shots. The HFR button can now also be remapped, as can the VTR and return buttons on Cine‑servo PL and B4 lenses. In addition, customers can now lock timecode to the SDI input, jam sync timecode is maintained between power cycles, and the ND filter icon is always visible on status text when in use.

Audio improvements have also been included with customers now able to choose between -18 or -20dB audio alignment levels. Sidetone adjustment for talkback has been added so camera operators can speak loudly in noisy environments while keeping their voice mixed down in their earpiece. Line level XLR input signals can now also be adjusted and audio meters have improved ballistics.

Blackmagic OS has been updated and now adds ⅓ stop ISO increments to the ISO slider, as well as the ability to quickly switch media from the heads up display. In addition, new 2:1, 1:1 and 5:4 frame guides have been added, along with the option for custom frame guides. The media formatting interface has been improved, making it more intuitive so users are less likely to accidentally format a card.

Blackmagic Camera 6.9.3 Update also adds general performance improvements and greater stability when using external reference. In addition, auto exposure speed and performance has been improved, as well as playback of renamed clips.

“This update adds a lot of new features to the original URSA Mini Pro 4.6K model, bringing it up to the latest software as the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and URSA Broadcast,” said Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design CEO. “It’s very exciting because now all URSA Mini Pro customers can upgrade to the latest software at no charge, giving them access to a range of powerful new capabilities to shoot with.”
