Follow the heart-wrenching journeys of Sarah, Slate and Martin as they spiral downwards to the pit of humanity. Sarah starts abusing drugs at the tender age of 13 and gets sucked into the beast of the underworld when introduced to Slate, a small time drug dealer and gangster. On the surface she is just another teenager who loves to hang out with her friends, but lives a double life filled with fear and abuse. She meets Martin, a local business executive, who becomes the only constant in her unravelling existence. Martin is married, but is drawn to Sarah as he finds an escape at the club where she dances. Their choices not only impact their lives, but also the lives around them.

Choices is inspired by real events and recounts the actual interviews with those who lived these moments. The realities play out to reveal shocking truths, and open us up to lives existing in the fog of a world so foreign; a seedy, dark place of abuse, downward spirals, betrayal, crime and death.

Many of those who enter lengthy drug rehabilitation programmes have no career to return to and no funds to study. Any funding raised as part of the campaign above our required budget, will be donated to these institutions to aid in furthering education for those within the drug rehabilitation program.

We want to create a production with a difference; not just a documentary, not just an educational piece, but a production that will grip you from the beginning, evoke emotion, and pull you in to the world inhabited by substance abusers; to show you the wrong-turns and bad choices, but highlight hope, that there is a way out, there is a right choice. We want to show the selfless work done by others to aid those in need, those who give so much, yet expect so little.
