World Music Day: Fete De La Musique
Fete De La Musique, an event that was created 30 years ago in France, and has now reached 450 cities across the world, takes place every year on the 21 June.
Cape Town is now joining the festivities to make it an official World Music Day.
Imagine going around the city for work, banking, lunch or more and listening to a band or a solo artist that is performing in the street and everywhere you turn around there are more performers; amateurs and professionals on the same level.
A great concept to unite all of us, to communicate with the help of the universal language that is music.
Bring your children after school, come from a stressing day at work, or just enjoy a good lunch break while you are listening to some live music.
