House Of Magic (3D): Review

In House Of Magic, we meet an abandoned young cat, Thunder, who sneaks into a mysterious mansion seeking shelter from a storm. The house is owned by retired magician Lawrence, aka “The Illustrious Lorenzo”.

Lawrence shares this huge house with many little animals and a dazzling array of automatons and gizmos. Thunder soon feels welcome, but Jack the rabbit and Maggie the mouse soon plot to have him kicked out. Throw in an interfering nephew secretly trying to sell the house, a trip to the hospital for Lawrence, and soon things begin to spin out of control.

House Of Magic is a charming tale. There are the gleeful little gizmos that flutter and spin, sure to dazzle the little ones and parents. And Thunder will steal the hearts of all, as he goes from abandon to fighting for the freedom of all and to keep their home.

The plot is not too complex for younger viewers, yet will keep everyone enthralled with this fun family outing. There is just the right amount of tension, conflict, and lessons in the story for every taste/

House Of Magic is one of those fun, endearing tales, that everyone will enjoy. It opens 4 July 2014 in South Africa.
