Mack Rapapali and Christiaan Baartman recently suprised everyone with their single, titled, ‘N VRIEND SOOS JY (A Friend Like You), and now a feel-good music video has been released for this exceptional song!
The production house for the video is EventCast Virtual Studios in Centurion and the video was produced by Stephan Pieterse and his assistant, Sellina Malindi. The drummer is Mario Schutze.
The video was filmed at EventCast Studios in Centurion, as well as at Ketelkraal Distillery. The tractor was sponsored by Auto Investment. “We had no idea how the tractor worked. I actually thought Christiaan would know, but nonetheless. Can you believe it, two Blue Bulls supporters and not one knew how to operate the tractor!”, says Mack.
The concept was put together by Stephan Pieterse and Mack himself. The concept was a virual live streaming performance because of the Covid pandemic – with memories of what two friends would have done if there was no lockdown, for example sitting in a bar, singing or even having a braai, discussing the farming.
“We all have that one person/friend in life that knows you inside and out, all your strenghts and weaknesses. The first person you phone when you are in trouble or to share your good news with. This is, ‘N VRIEND SOOS JY,” explains Christiaan.
