The College Of Magic – Lessons Start Saturday

In difficult times, we focus on the things that we can do to help. The College of Magic provides stability and purpose in these times of turmoil. We continue to look towards creation, inspiration and hope as this is, and always will be, one of the most important roles we play in our community of students and staff. There is so much in the pipeline to get excited about – new events, shows, masterclasses, secret projects and so much more. We’ll make sure to keep you updated.

Lessons start online for our returning students on Saturday 17th, followed by our new Course 1 intake on the 24th of July. If you have any friends or family with kids aged 10 years or older, please feel free to put them in touch.

Liam Joubert departed at the end of June to pursue new opportunities. We are very pleased that he will continue teaching as a volunteer on Saturday mornings. We wish him well!

A special welcome to Ulibo Maake who recently joined the College of Magic team as our new Operations Co-ordinator. Ulibo is superbly qualified and has already made a positive impact in the centre over the last month.

Magical Renovations

The last few months have provided the opportunity to tackle some important renovations and maintenance of our 125 year old home. Our maintenance manager and caretaker, Tangisayi has knocked down walls, ripped up carpet, plastered and painted. The Centre has never looked better and we are eagerly awaiting a return to busy Saturday classes.

We are currently refurbishing our staircase and hallways. If you can assist with donations of PAINT or CARPETING please get in touch.

Looking Back: Stars Of Comedy And Magic

THANK YOU to all our supporters for tuning in and the fantastic performers for giving up their time for this important fundraiser – Alan Committie, Mawonga Gayiya, Kurt Schoonraad, Stuart Taylor, Charles Tertiens, Rob Van Vuuren and the College of Magic kids.
