Christiaan Baartman Wants To Help Feed Hungry Rhinos With New Music Video

After dreaming about hungry rhinos one night during lockdown, the talented singer and songwriter, Christiaan Baartman, decided to complete an old song and that is how his latest single – STOF – was born, which can currently be heard on radio stations across the country.

The music video, filmed by Leon Gropp, focuses on the great work that Food for Rhinos does, which is exactly what he saw in his dream.

“One of the first expenses people cut back on when times are tough, is charity donations. In my dream I saw rhinos starving and it broke my heart. It made me realize that we are all eat from the same ground and that is our responsibility to look after these animals,” Christiaan explains.

“We considered a lot of options while planning the video, but after Dr Nele Sabbe told us about the amazing work that Food for Rhinos is doing, I decided to focus the entire video on this non-profit organization – which needs R160 000 per month to feed rhinos.”

The video was shot on location in a Rhino Sanctuary that specializes in the rehabilitation and protection of rhinos that were affected be poaching. “There are many baby rhinos whose parents died, and they need a lot of food,” he says. “The best part of the filming process, was these babies who followed us around on set.”

STOF is the ninety seventh single from this Huisgenoot Tempo and Ghoema-acclaimed artists own pen and follows in the footsteps of the catchy duet, ’n Vriend Soos Jy that he released with Mack Rapapali and it has been listened by more than two million people across the world.

Christiaan Baartman Pleit Vir Honger Renosters In Nuwe Musiefvideo
