Sunday the 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of May is the day to say \u201cMay the Force be with you\u201d to all, and celebrate the beloved\u00a0<em>Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>story that binds our galaxy together.<\/p>\n<p>From dressing up as their favourite characters, reliving the classic film moments by holding\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0movie marathons, holding\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>-themed parties (complete with blue milk (just like Aunt Beru used to make), Death Star Popcorn Balls, Wookie Cookies and more) \u2013 the only limit is a fans imagination that stretches a galaxy (far, far away)! To assist, the official\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL148kCvXk8pCRq5_Z6EkDUj4eLRFNenUj\"><em>Star Wars<\/em>\u00a0Youtube<\/a>\u00a0page has some great hints and tips for fans.<\/p>\n<p>One of the earliest known records of \u201cMay the 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u201d used in popular culture is in 1979, as described here by author Alan Arnold while he was chronicling the making of\u00a0<em>The Empire Strikes Back\u00a0<\/em>for Lucasfilm:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><em>Friday, May 4<sup>th<\/sup><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Margaret Thatcher has won the election and become Britain\u2019s first woman prime minister. To celebrate their victory her party took a half page of advertising space in the London Evening News. This message, referring to the day of victory, was \u201cMay the Fourth Be With You, Maggie. The six live-action movies of the\u00a0<em>Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>saga debuted in May (starting with the original\u00a0<em>Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>on May 25th, 1977) and this year, principal photography on\u00a0<em>Star Wars<\/em>: Episode VII will commence in May.
