Director Michael Bay has tapped John Goodman and Ken Watanabe to voice two all new Autobots<\/em> in his highly anticipated film \u201cTRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION<\/a>,\u201d the fourth film in the global blockbuster franchise from Paramount Pictures.<\/p>\n

Goodman and Watanabe will join legendary voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.<\/p>\n

Goodman will play Autobot Hound<\/em>, Watanabe will play Drift<\/em>, while Cullen reprises his role as the voice of Optimus Prime,<\/em> and Welker takes on another new character, Galvatron<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to welcome two gifted and versatile actors, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, to the world of Transformers,\u201d said Bay. \u201cAnd to reteam with Peter and Frank, who have brought Transformers characters alive from the beginning. I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the best voice talent in the business, and together we will introduce several exciting new robots to fans of the franchise around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rounding out the voice-over cast are actors John DiMaggio, Mark Ryan, Robert Foxworth and Reno Wilson.\u00a0 DiMaggio and Ryan will take on the new characters Crosshairs<\/em> and Lockdown<\/em> respectively, while Foxworth reprises the role of Ratchet<\/em> and Wilson returns as Brains<\/em>.<\/p>\n

A new chapter in the Transformers universe, \u201cTRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION\u201d stars an all new live action cast lead by Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Li Bingbing , Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor and Titus Welliver.<\/p>\n

\u201cTRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION\u201d begins after an epic\u00a0battle that\u00a0left a great city torn, but with the world saved. Peter Cullen is known throughout the world as the voice of the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime, <\/em>on the popular 1980s cartoon series \u201cThe Transformers\u201d and in Michael Bay\u2019s \u201cTRANSFORMERS\u201d film franchise. Additionally, he has voiced the robots Ironhide<\/em>, Slugslinger<\/em>, Streetwise<\/em>, Wingspan<\/em> and Nightstick<\/em>. He has lent his voice to \u201cWinnie the Pooh\u2019s\u201d Eeyore on everything from cartoons and television commercials to theatrical promotions. His film credits include the voice of the title role in the remake of \u201cKING KONG,\u201d and the inhuman alien sounds in \u201cPREDATOR.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frank Welker has voiced many recurring characters in \u201cThe Transformers\u201d animated series, including eight of the original 14 Decepticons, Megatron, Galvatron, Soundwave, Skywrap, Laserbeak, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage <\/em>and Ratbat<\/em>. On the big screen, he appeared as Soundwave<\/em> and Ravage<\/em> in \u201cTRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN\u201d and as Soundwave<\/em> and Shockwave<\/em> in \u201cTRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stage, film and television actor Ken Watanabe played General Tadamichi Kuribayashi in \u201cLETTERS FROM IWO JIMA,\u201d the Chairman in \u201cMEMOIRS OF A GEISHA\u201d and Lord Katsumoto Moritsugu in \u201cTHE LAST SAMURAI,\u201d for which he was nominated for an Academy Award\u00ae for Best Supporting Actor. His most recent work includes roles in \u201cBATMAN BEGINS,\u201d \u201cINCEPTION\u201d and the upcoming \u201cGODZILLA.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert Foxworth is an accomplished stage and screen actor. He starred in the television series \u201cStorefront Lawyers,\u201d \u201cFalcon Crest\u201d and \u201cLateLine,\u201d and appeared as a recurring series character on \u201cSix Feet Under,\u201d \u201cLaw & Order,\u201d \u201cLaw & Order: SUV\u201d and as a guest on \u201cBrothers & Sisters,\u201d \u201cBoston Legal,\u201d \u201cBones,\u201d \u201cThe West Wing\u201d and \u201cGilmore Girls.\u201d His recent Broadway credits include \u201cAugust: Osage County\u201d and \u201cTwelve Angry Men.\u201d Foxworth voiced the role of Ratchet <\/em>in \u201cTRANSFORMERS,\u201d \u201cTRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN\u201d and \u201cTRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON.\u201d<\/p>\n

John DiMaggio\u2019s voice-over work includes television, film and video games. Mark Ryan has been combining his acting, singing, writing and directing talents in a successful international career for more than 30 years. He performed in several major musicals in London\u2019s West End, including four years in Andrew Lloyd Webber\u2019s smash hit \u201cEvita,\u201d originating the role of Magaldi and then playing Ch\u00e9. He originated the character of Nasir for the cult British TV series \u201cRobin of Sherwood\u201c and has appeared in dozens of films and television series, both in the U.S. and UK. He previously voiced Bumblebee<\/em> and Jetfire<\/em> for the \u201cTRANSFORMERS\u201d film franchise and recently co-starred in the premiere season of \u201cBlack Sails,\u201d Michael Bay\u2019s provocative new television series for Starz.<\/p>\n

Reno Wilson currently stars on the hit CBS comedy \u201cMike & Molly\u201d as Officer Carl McMillan.
