<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nCeleste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom, Jr., Laura Pausini, Daniel Pemberton, Molly Sand\u00e9n and Diane Warren will perform the five nominated original songs in their entirety for \u201cOscars: Into the Spotlight,\u201d the lead-in to the 93rd Oscars\u00ae, producers Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher and Steven Soderbergh announced today. One performance will be recorded in H\u00fasav\u00edk, Iceland and four at the Dolby Family Terrace of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve come up with some serious pre-game and post-game action to enhance our main event,\u201d said Collins, Sher and Soderbergh. \u201cOur suggestion is just tune in for the whole shebang, otherwise you\u2019ll miss something really unexpected and fun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hosted by actors Ariana DeBose (\u201cHamilton\u201d) and Lil Rel Howery (\u201cBad Trip\u201d), the 90-minute \u201cOscars: Into the Spotlight\u201d will highlight the nominees\u2019 journey to Hollywood\u2019s biggest night, give fans around the world the ultimate insiders\u2019 sneak peek into the party and for the first time bring Oscar music to the festivities. The show will feature a special appearance by DJ Tara. \u201cOscars: Into the Spotlight\u201d will air on Oscar Sunday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. ET\/3:30 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the conclusion of the 93rd Oscars, the celebration continues live on ABC with \u201cOscars: After Dark,\u201d hosted by actors Colman Domingo (\u201cZola\u201d) and Andrew Rannells (\u201cThe Prom\u201d) and featuring interviews by film critic Elvis Mitchell. The special recaps the evening\u2019s must-see moments and showcases Oscar\u00ae winners as they have their statuettes personalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both specials are executive-produced by Michael Antinoro and David Chamberlin, alongside producers Collins, Sher and Soderbergh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 93rd Oscars will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Union Station Los Angeles and the Dolby\u00ae Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center\u00ae in Hollywood, and international locations via satellite. \u201cOscars: Into the Spotlight\u201d will air live on Oscar Sunday, April 25, on ABC at 6:30 p.m. ET\/3:30 p.m. PT.
