On DStv, the celebrations will continue all month long. After all, the women who keep our families together and our households running like clockwork deserve the best entertainment every day. Whether your mom enjoys romance, prefers side-splitting comedy, or is in awe of the majesty of the world, there\u2019s a DStv show just waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And while mom may be the centre of attention this month, there\u2019s still plenty of great family viewing, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DStv\u2019s School of Laughter<\/strong> brings the best edutainment straight to your screens with CBeebies\u2019 (DStv channel 306)<\/strong> exciting line-up of programming for preschoolers. Over on Cartoon Network (DStv channel 301)<\/strong> and Da Vinci (DStv channel 318)<\/strong>, older children can delight in shows featuring magic, superheroes, and ninjas while Jim Jam (DStv channel 310)<\/strong> will be airing two Thomas & Friends <\/em>films on weekends throughout May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explore the realities of blended families in The Blended Bunch<\/em> on TLC (DStv Channel 135)<\/strong>. After the unfortunate loss of their spouses, Spencer and Erica find love again in a small town in Utah. After six weeks of dating, they decide to get hitched \u2013 to the surprise of their combined 11 \u2013 yes, 11! \u2013 kids. The Home Channel (DStv Channel 176)<\/strong> brings a touch of design to a chaotic living arrangement in Design Twins<\/em>. Sisters Heidi and Heather start Joyful Living, an interior design business aimed at altering the lives of others through creative ideas, inventive solutions, and beautiful design. To get there, the sisters move in together \u2013 along with their partners and seven kids! Can they keep the creative juices flowing while juggling the everyday chaos of combining their families?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also plenty of new seasons of favourite shows piloting this month. Catch The Flash<\/em> on M-Net City (DStv channel 115)<\/strong>, E! True Hollywood Story <\/em>on E! (DStv channel 124)<\/strong> and Little Women Atlanta<\/em> on Lifetime (DStv channel 131)<\/strong>. Fox (DStv channel 125)<\/strong> will also see the brand-new animated comedy series Solar Opposites<\/em> starting this month \u2013 but be warned: this is not one for the kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local television also doesn\u2019t disappoint this May, with VIA (DStv channel 147)<\/strong>, kykNET (DStv channel 144)<\/strong>, and Moja Love (DStv channel 157)<\/strong> airing everything from OTT reality and dance-along music to high drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For music-loving moms, History Channel (DStv channel 186)<\/strong> takes a closer look at an icon of music \u2013 Fleetwood Mac\u2019s frontwoman Stevie Nicks. In Stevie Nicks: Wild at Heart<\/em>, take a deep dive into the witchy, transcendental, and deep-rooted mysticism of one of the most prolific women in music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Geographic Wild (DStv channel 182) <\/strong>also celebrates the women of the wild this month. Every Friday throughout May, the channel will spotlight amazing female veterinarians, biologists, explorers, and conservationists in Women of Wild<\/strong>.
