The hilarious science fiction romantic comedy Palm Springs<\/em><\/strong>, starring Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine Nine<\/em>), Cristin Milioti (Made for Love<\/em>) and J.K. Simmons (Invincible<\/em>) will debut as a Cinema Premiere on DStv BoxOffice on Friday 14 May 2021. The film, directed by Max Barbakow, with a screenplay by Andy Siara, broke the record for most viewed Hulu release in its first weekend on the streaming service in America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palm Springs<\/em><\/strong> was produced by comedy trio formed by Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg, and Jorma Taccone known as \u201cThe Lonely Island\u201d, a crew that, across countless Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/strong> shorts or movies like Hot Rod<\/em><\/strong> and Popstar<\/em><\/strong>, are known and loved for their pop music parody and silly humor. Palm Springs<\/em><\/strong> is true to that premise, and takes this further with fascinating, complex characters, excellent comedy and an inventive storyline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
