As we hit the middle of May, there\u2019s no better time to get cosy and settle in for winter with DStv\u2019s terrific line-up of movies and television shows. With a mix of old and new, here\u2019s what you can look forward to this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know that many of Nickelodeon\u2019s top stars are also musical talents? NickToons (DStv channel 308) <\/strong>is a weekly link-and-clip show that features family-friendly music from the main Nickelodeon channel. Produced locally with local young talent as hosts, tune in for good, kid-friendly beats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday afternoon just got a lot more curious for the kids! Join George and Ted in Curious George: Go West, Go Wild<\/strong> on M-Net (DStv channel 101)<\/strong>. The animated film sees the well-loved monkey and his friend head to a farm where they must learn new cowboy skills in order to fix an accident caused by George\u2019s curiosity. Later that day, on M-Net Movies 1 (DStv channel 104)<\/strong>, Mr Popper\u2019s Penguins<\/strong> may make your kids want a pet of a different kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also on Saturday, History Channel (DStv channel 186) <\/strong>continues its Icons of Music <\/strong>special with Ozzy Osbourne: Throne of Darkness<\/strong>. Before he was Kelly and Jack\u2019s dad, and the warbling crooner of days gone by, Ozzy was a true rocker \u2013 one that even went so far as to bite the head off a live bat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On M-Net (DStv channel 101)<\/strong>, The Kitchen <\/strong>sizzles as this week\u2019s Sunday night blockbuster. Melissa McCarthy (Spy<\/strong> and Gilmore Girls<\/strong>), Tiffany Haddish (Night School<\/strong>) and Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/strong>) star as three hard-core girl bosses who take over the family business when their Irish mobster husbands are arrested and sentenced to prison in 1970\u2019s New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week also has loads of amazing television shows.
