We may be nearing the middle of the year and the heart of winter, but that\u2019s just more of an excuse to stay home and curl up with the best in entertainment. And we\u2019ve got you covered!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, DStv launches two new Pop-Up channels to add to your viewing entertainment, AfroCinema (DStv channel 198)<\/strong> and Fast and Furious (DStv channel 111)<\/strong> bringing you the best in niche entertainment. AfroCinema<\/strong> will be available from Friday, 21 May to Sunday, 30 May<\/strong>, and is a celebration of African film, while Fast and Furious<\/strong> is dedicated to \u2013 you guessed it! \u2013 the Fast and Furious <\/strong>franchise with all eight movies airing between Friday, 21 May through Sunday, 30 May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Access<\/strong> subscribers will continue to enjoy the Open Window of great entertainment with channels such as HONEY (DStv channel 173)<\/strong>, KIX (DStv channel 114)<\/strong>, BET (DStv channel 129) <\/strong>and MTV (DStv channel 130) <\/strong>until Monday, 31 May<\/strong>. For Compact <\/strong>subscribers wanting to get in on the laughs and sports, Comedy Central (DStv channel 122)<\/strong> and SuperSport Action (DStv channel 210)<\/strong> will be available from Monday, 24 May to<\/strong> Sunday, 6 June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also taking place this week is the 15th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs)<\/strong>. Tune in on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161)<\/strong> for a virtual half-hour red carpet of A-list fashion before a two-hour live broadcast honouring the amazing film and television that have graced Mzansi screens over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
