Three years after the release of King of Boys<\/em>\u00a0 the highly-awaited sequel to one of the highest-grossing Nollywood movies of all time is coming to Netflix, but this time as a seven episode series on August 27, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

King Of Boys : The Return of The King <\/em>will see Sola Sobowale and Toni Tones return as Eniola Salami and picks up with Eniola\u2019s triumphant return after a five-year exile. However, her shocking, unannounced return rattles the cages of her enemies – both old and new. And once trusted allies desert her at her most vulnerable moment – all while she faces an even greater battle within herself for the redemption of her tortured soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makanaki ( Reminisce<\/a>)\u00a0 Odogwu Malay (Ill Bliss<\/a> ),Aare Akinwande ( Akin Lewis<\/a>), Sade Bello ( Osas Ighodaro<\/a>), Ade Tiger ( Titi Kuti<\/a>)\u00a0and President Mumusa (Keppy Ekpeyoung)\u00a0 reprise their roles from the first movie. New additions to the cast include First Lady Jumoke Randle (Nse Ikpe Etim<\/a>) , Reverend Ifeanyi (RMD<\/a>)\u00a0 ( Reverend Ifeanyi) , (Dapo Banjo( Efa Iwara<\/a>)\u00a0 , Adetola Fashina (Deyemi Okanlawon<\/a>, Odudubariba (Charly Boy<\/a> ) and Governor Tunde Randle (Lord Frank).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Produced by Kemi Adetiba Visuals, King Of Boys: The Return of The King<\/em> is a sequel to the hugely successful 2018 crime political drama.   The film was critically acclaimed for its gripping storyline and has remained on the list of highest grossing Nigerian films till date. Sola Sobowale and Adesua Etomi-Wellington also won the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for \u2018Best Actress In A Leading Role\u2019 and \u2018Best Actress in a Supporting Role\u2019, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Series creator Kemi Adetiba released a  4-minute teaser <\/a>for \u201cKing of Boys 2\u201d  <\/em>that set social media abuzz with excitement in 2020. It strongly hinted at the return of the movie\u2019s main villain, Makanaki (Reminisce), a character whose ambiguous fate left fans speculating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
