whether it being with his captivating lyrics, striking melodies, unique voice, exceptional artwork or incredible music videos&#8230; like the one he has just released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NONNIE<\/em><\/strong>, his latest single, is the next part of the fascinating story that this talented musician is telling with his latest album and was produced in association with John Masser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The music video, directed by renowned sculptor, artist and videographer &#8211; Lionel Smit &#8211; is very simplistic and is about the longing that the storyteller experiences when the light of Jenny (Nonnie for her parents)\u2019s family home shines brightly through his bedroom window and makes it impossible for him to sleep. <em>\u201cThe song also represents the point where Jenny becomes a writer and we also portray this in the video,\u201d <\/em>shares Jan. <em>\u201cThis is the next part of the story we are telling with the album.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, it was the first music video ever to be recorded at his home in Gordon\u2019s Bay, in the studio where he paints, but he also finds it very appropriate seeing that the song is close to his heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jan Blohm - Nonnie (Offisi\u00eble Musiekvideo)\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QweyCXius4c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NONNIE<\/em><\/strong> follows in the footsteps of chart-topping hits like <em>Jenny<\/em>, <em>Ou Karoo<\/em> and <em>Levi Jeans<\/em>, which can still be heard on the radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These tracks form part of his concept album, <em>Jenny<\/em>, which he describes as the story of two teenagers who lives in a small conservative railway town (De Aar) in the 1980s that is told in twelve songs and can be filmed like a movie. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jan, with his poetic rock music, made his debut in the local music scene in 2004 and has since become a household name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His plans for the rest of the year includes staying safe and creating new artwork. <em>\u201cThere are a few exciting things happening at our shop, <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/blohmhuis.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Blohmhuis<\/em><\/a><em>, in Strand that I am part of, and I am also busy writing new music.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>NONNIE<\/em><\/strong> is now available on all digital platforms and can be downloaded here: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lnk.to\/qWJR7gaL\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/lnk.to\/qWJR7gaL<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jan Blohm<\/strong> het lankal reeds die kuns bemeester om bewonderaars se harte vas te vang&#8230;
