{"id":12769,"date":"2021-08-26T16:18:53","date_gmt":"2021-08-26T14:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.samdb.co.za\/blogs\/?p=12769"},"modified":"2021-08-26T16:18:53","modified_gmt":"2021-08-26T14:18:53","slug":"este-gross-and-len-muller-releases-music-video-of-hemelruim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.samdb.co.za\/blogs\/blog\/2021\/08\/26\/este-gross-and-len-muller-releases-music-video-of-hemelruim\/","title":{"rendered":"Est\u00e9 Gross And Len Muller Releases Music Video Of Hemelruim"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The successful release of her latest single, has shown that well-known broadcaster, newsreader, compiler and columnist, <a><strong>Est\u00e9 Gross<\/strong><\/a> is a songwriter and musician to be reckoned with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>HEMELRUIM<\/em><\/strong> has not only been playlisted by major radio stations across the country, but has also featured on several hit parades and recently secured the number one spot on Radio Kansel\u2019s charts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A music video of this beautiful song, featuring Len Muller as guest artist, has just been released and is already taken the internet by storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three storylines are combined in this video, directed by Jana van Deventer of Duck Soup Productions, to convey the message that you should stop procrastinating and start pursuing your dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe three people in the video must find hope and courage to pursue their dreams. They must go out and gather their own manna for the day,\u201d<\/em> she explains. <em>\u201cLight plays an important part in the video and we spent most of the day chasing the sun to get the perfect shots for specific scenes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the singer, the pandemic and fact that different locations were needed, complicated the filming process. <em>\u201cLen and I couldn\u2019t get together for the shoot. My scenes were filmed at a house in Pretoria and Leslie van Wyk shot Len\u2019s at his house in the Cape. Matthe\u00fcs, who plays the cellist, also had to film at different locations, including the Pierneef Theatre and a grocery shop.\u201d &nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Est\u00e9 Gross (ft. They immediately hit it off, after which she approached him to record a song with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>HEMELRUIM<\/em><\/strong> follows in the footsteps of her debut single, <em>Lig<\/em>, which was released in 2019.<em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this versatile woman, singing is as natural as breathing and she had formal musical training at university for two years. Although she initially concentrated on her current career, her passion for music persisted and she decided that the time was right to start a new chapter by focusing more on her music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Est\u00e9 is currently busy writing new songs and wants to release more of her own music in the future, take on more collaborative opportunities and be involved in the conceptualisation of several music productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>HEMELRUIM<\/em><\/strong> is available on all digital platforms. My gedeelte is in \u2019n huis in Pretoria verfilm en syne by sy huis in die Kaap (deur Leslie van Wyk).
