The wait is finally over! Boondogle Films<\/a>\u2019 highly anticipated streaking comedy, KAALGAT KAREL<\/em><\/strong> is hitting local cinemas this Friday (24 September) and ticket sales are now open!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KAALGAT KAREL<\/em><\/strong> tells the heart-warming story of Karel Venter (Francois Jacobs), a thirty-year-old guy who loves the thrill of streaking during sports matches. He falls head-over-heels for the paramedic and single mom, Rita (Christia Visser) who treats him after a streak gone wrong, but she seems to have no interest in his streaking shenanigans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tummy-tickling Afrikaans motion picture, featuring English sub-titles, has already impressed overseas critics and movie enthusiasts and won awards at several prestigious international film festivals, including Best Feature Film<\/em>, Best Romantic Comedy<\/em>, Best Produced Feature Film Screenplay<\/em> and Best International Production<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to a catchy theme song, Altyd Op Vakansie<\/em> by Jack Parow and Loki Rothman, the movie also boasts a star-studded cast that includes Siv Ngesi, Tracey-Lee Oliver, Rosebelle Clasen, Eden Classens and popular comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
