SAMA acclaimed musician and songwriter, Ray Dylan<\/strong>, is best-known for big hits like Hokaai Stoppie Lorrie, Dis Verby, Jessica, Hier binne klop \u2019n Boerehart, Angel-face, You\u2019re My Everything, Vir Ewig Jonk, Uitbasuin<\/em> and Hier Teen Jou Lyf<\/em> and has mastered the art of speaking to fans\u2019 hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LAASTE GROET<\/em><\/strong> follows in the footsteps of the catchy pop song, By Jou Voete L\u00ea<\/em>, which has become quite popular on the dance floor over the past few months and is still in the #1 position on the charts of many radio stations across the country. The music video<\/a>, produced by Vonk\u2019s Wian van der Walt, has already had half a million views on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone predicts that the chillingly beautiful lyrics of his latest ballad, LAASTE GROET<\/em><\/strong> will have fans mesmerised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This emotional song, which he wrote with Piet Farrell, is about saying goodbye to a loved one and is very relevant in the devastating times we are living in.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPiet and I have both lost people close to us and have come to realise that time is precious and goes by so quickly,\u201d <\/em>shares the singer. \u201cThe song made me realize that we have to appreciate and support each other in difficult times.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray describes LAASTE GROET<\/em><\/strong> as \u201cfood for the soul\u201d and believes that people will be able to relate to the lyrics because of the loss and sadness caused by Covid-19. He also hopes that this song will provide some comfort in these difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ray Dylan<\/strong> has been in the music industry for thirty-three years and was twelve when he started performing and touring with Bles Bridges. Over the years, he has released several gold and double platinum albums and singles and has become a household name in the Afrikaans music industry.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is currently working on two new albums and is looking forward to performing again after lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
