TEN MINSTE VIR MY<\/em><\/strong> is a rock song with an upbeat vibe and meaningful lyrics that promises to make fans smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was alone in a bar one night. It felt like I was the only one there and like the DJ was playing his music just for me. I wondered if he also (like me) played music to lift people\u2019s spirits. That evening he definitely manged to cheer me up,\u201d<\/em> the artist explains.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Pretorian, with his long dark hair and artistic collection of tattoos, the track will appeal to listeners of all ages and it will invite them to sing and dance to the lyrics: \u201cAsseblief Meneer sit harder die musiek, ten minste vir my\u2026!<\/em>\u201d  It will serve as therapy for those people who listen to great rock music, but also like to find the deeper meaning of the song with a positive message behind the lyrics.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TEN MINSTE VIR MY<\/em><\/strong> forms part of his album, Zonneblom<\/em>, which was officially launched at the AfriForum Theatre in Pretoria. It was extremely well received by media, fans and the public and he regards it as one of the biggest highlights of his career so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zaan, who grew up in Bloemfontein is currently busy working on concepts for more music videos and is planning to tour the country with his band.  He is also part of Son Studios and Son Sound and is also co-owner of INNER INK, which manufactures hardened glass on an industrial level and does ceramic printing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the release of his long-awaited debut album, Zaan Sonnekus<\/strong> – with his poetic lyrics and captivating and wld stage presence is on everyone\u2019s lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEk was een aand alleen in \u2019n kroeg om my kop \u2018skoon\u2019 te kry. Dit het gevoel asof ek die enigste mens daar is en asof die DJ besig is om net vir my musiek te speel. Ek het gewonder of hy nie net, soos ek, sy musiek speel om mense te laat beter voel nie. Daardie aand het hy my beslis laat beter voel,\u201d <\/em>vertel hy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens di\u00e9 Pretorianer, met sy donker lokke en kunstige versameling tatoes, gaan luisteraars aanklank vind by die liedjie omdat dit hulle uitnooi om saam te sing en dans met: \u201cAsseblief Meneer, sit harder die musiek… ten minste vir my..\u201d<\/em>. Dit is terapie vir diegene wat dieper luister en nodig het om op \u2018n lekker klipharde rocksnit \u2019n mooi boodskap te vind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
