The movie, which is an American-South African co-production, is an adventure in the spirit of \u2018Sex & the City\u2019 and \u2018Girls Trip\u2019. It tells the story of Sarah (Erica Ash), an awkward, loveable, and honest woman who moves to Mauritius to pursue her PhD after a painful breakup with her boyfriend. While there, she goes on a series of very funny dating encounters only to realise that the key to her happiness is to first be comfortable in her own skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Singleholic\u2019, filmed on location in Mauritius, is produced by Milan Selassie and is based on the novel by the same name from English author Katherine Bing. Bryan Barber served as the director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
