Disney+, the streaming service from The Walt Disney Company, has confirmed launch dates for the 42 countries and 11 new territories set to launch this winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The streaming service will launch in South Africa on 18 May 2022. South African pricing has also been announced at R119.00 per month, or R1 190.00 for an annual subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With exclusive original content and thousands of episodes and movies from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and general entertainment from Star, Disney+ is the streaming home for some of the world\u2019s most beloved stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subscribers will have access to Star Wars\u2019 \u201cThe Book of Boba Fett\u201d and \u201cThe Mandalorian\u201d from executive producer and writer Jon Favreau.\u00a0In addition, the Marvel Studios\u2019 series \u201cMoon Knight\u201d starring Oscar Isaac as Steven Grant, which sees a mild-mannered gift-shop employee becoming plagued with blackouts and memories of another life as well as Academy Award\u00ae-nominated \u201cShang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings\u201d starring Simu Liu and Awkwafina, will also be available at launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subscribers will also be able to enjoy Disney and Pixar\u2019s Academy Award\u00ae-nominated \u201cLuca\u201d, Walt Disney Animation Studios\u2019 Academy Award\u00ae-winning \u201cEncanto\u201d, which tells the tale of an extraordinary family called the Madrigals and Academy Award\u00ae-winning \u201cCruella\u201d starring Emma Stone as the legendary \u201cCruella de Vil\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
