That\u2019s why in May, Netflix is celebrating these stories and storytellers in anticipation of Africa Day on 25 May through a new collection titled \u2018From Cape to Cairo\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the African Union has deemed 2022 \u201cthe year of nutrition\u201d and in that spirit, Netflix is bringing our members stories from North, East, West, Central and Southern Africa to feast on. This collection includes rows like \u2018Our Music, Our Culture, Our History;\u2019 \u2018Award-Winners &amp; Critics\u2019 Favourites;\u2019 \u2018African Women Behind the Camera;\u2019 \u2018Love Across the Continent;\u2019 \u2018Stories From The African Diaspora;\u2019 and more recommendations to help you find your next favourite African series, film or special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018From Cape to Cairo\u2019 collection will feature Netflix\u2019s latest African series,<strong> <\/strong><em>Blood Sisters (Nigeria) <\/em>and <em>Savage Beauty <\/em>(South Africa) \u2014 both launching in May \u2014 and many other stories that showcase the continent\u2019s creativity and talent. The wide variety featured includes the recently-launched African films<em> Silverton Siege and Man of God&nbsp; <\/em>to the South African true-crime docuseries <em>Senzo: Murder of a Soccer Star, <\/em>&nbsp;the much-loved reality series <em>Young Famous &amp; African<\/em> plus Netflix series including<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><em>Finding Ola<\/em>, <em>Paranormal <\/em>and <em>Secrets of The Saqqara Tomb<\/em> from Egypt to <em>Queen Sono,Blood &amp; Water, JIVA!;,How To Ruin Christmas and Kings of Joburg <\/em>from South Africa<em> <\/em>plus <em>King of Boys: Return Of The King<\/em> from Nigeria. We also have major international films and series featuring talent of African descent from the African diaspora including <em>Meet the Adebanjos, African Doctor, Shine Your Eyes, <\/em><em>D\u1ecdl\u00e1p\u1ecd\u0300 is Fine, Yasuke<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further celebrate African talent across the continent, we\u2019re also launching a new podcast entitled <em>Never Late | African Time,<\/em><strong> <\/strong>featuring Netflix\u2019s on-screen and behind-the-screen talent like Nox Dlamini (actress &#8211; <em>Silverton Siege<\/em>), Jayan Moodley (director &#8211; <em>Tripping with the Kandasamys<\/em>), Retti Ramaphakela (producer\/director &#8211; <em>How to Ruin Christmas<\/em>), Jesse Suntele (actor &#8211;<em> Savage Beauty<\/em>), Daniel Effiong (actor &#8211; <em>Blood Sisters<\/em>), Nancy Isime (actress &#8211; <em>Blood Sisters<\/em>), Ini Dima Okojie (actress &#8211; <em>Blood Sisters<\/em>), and Kemi Adetiba (director &#8211; <em>King Of Boys<\/em>) as they share their experiences around diversity and inclusion in the creative industry.
