Disney+ confirms more titles set to premiere exclusively on the service in the UK & Ireland in 2022-23 including the psychological thriller \u201cThe Patient\u201d<\/strong> starring Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson, \u201cFleishman is in Trouble\u201d<\/strong>, based on the New York Times bestselling novel and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan, Claire Danes, and Adam Brody; and \u201cWelcome to Chippendales\u201d<\/strong> starring Kumail Nanjiani. These titles are set to join an exclusive line-up of new, high-quality entertainment for adults on Disney+ including star-studded dramas, laugh-out-loud comedies, eye-opening documentaries, and endless hit movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highly anticipated \u201cWelcome to Wrexham\u201d<\/strong>, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds\u2019 docuseries will arrive on Disney+ in August with more exclusive series premiering over the next 12 months including \u201cMike\u201d<\/strong> from the team behind \u201cI, Tonya\u201d, \u201cThe Old Man\u201d<\/strong> starring Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow, Amy Brenneman, and Alia Shawkat and \u201cLimitless with Chris Hemsworth\u201d<\/strong>.Also joining the unmissable line-up over the next 12 months are UK originals including \u201cWedding Season\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cExtraordinary\u201d<\/strong>, and docuseries \u201cSave Our Squad\u201d<\/strong>. \u201cWelcome to Wrexham\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>is a docuseries tracking the dreams and people of Wrexham as two Hollywood stars (Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds) take ownership of the town\u2019s historic yet struggling football club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The riveting new drama series \u201cThe Old Man\u201d<\/strong> will land exclusively on Disney+ within the next year. Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Thomas Perry, \u201cThe Old Man\u201d stars Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow, Amy Brenneman, and Alia Shawkat and centers on Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges), who absconded from the CIA decades ago and has been living off the grid since. When an assassin arrives and tries to take Chase out, the old operative learns that to ensure his future, he now must reconcile his past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exclusively joining Disney+ from FX is \u201cFleishman is in Trouble\u201d <\/strong>adapted by Taffy Brodesser-Akner from her New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Lizzy Caplan, Claire Danes, and Adam Brody, directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris (\u201cLittle Miss Sunshine\u201d, \u201cRuby Sparks\u201d, \u201cBattle of the Sexes\u201d). Disney+ will also be the home of the psychological thriller \u201cThe Patient\u201d<\/strong>, about a therapist, Alan Strauss (Steve Carell), who is held prisoner by a patient, and Sam Fortner (Domhnall Gleeson), who reveals himself to be a serial killer. The show is co-written by Executive Producers Joel Fields and Joe Weisberg (\u201cThe Americans\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also joining Disney+ is the adult animation \u201cLittle Demon\u201d<\/strong> starring Aubrey Plaza as the voice of Laura, who, after being impregnated by Satan (voiced by Danny DeVito), is attempting to live an ordinary life in Delaware with her Antichrist daughter but is constantly thwarted by monstrous forces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DISNEY TELEVISION STUDIOS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A diverse range of titles will premiere on Disney+ in the coming months including the limited series \u201cMike\u201d<\/strong> from showrunner Karin Gist7, creator\/screenwriter Steven Rogers and the team behind \u201cI, Tonya\u201d. Produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios, the show tells the story of the dynamic and controversial life of boxing icon Mike Tyson, starring Trevante Rhodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also coming to Disney+, produced by 20th Television, is the romantic comedy series \u201cMaggie\u201d <\/strong>starring Rebecca Rittenhouse and \u201cWelcome to Chippendales\u201d<\/strong>, an eight-episode limited series starring Kumail Nanjiani, who plays Somen \u201cSteve\u201d Banerjee, the Indian-American entrepreneur who started Chippendales. Kumail Nanjiani and Robert Siegel (\u201cPam & Tommy\u201d) serve as Executive Producers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-created by Justin Roiland (\u201cRick and Morty\u201d) and Mike McMahan (\u201cRick and Morty,\u201d \u201cStar Trek: Lower Decks\u201d), the third season of \u201cSolar Opposites\u201d <\/strong>is on its way to Disney+ soon and centres on a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty, while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food, and fun stuff. In season three, this alien team strives to be less of a team and more of a family. 20th Television Animation produces the series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New ground-breaking series and documentaries from National Geographic include \u201cLimitless with Chris Hemsworth\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cDance the World with Derek Hough\u201d <\/strong>and \u201cFarming is Life\u201d<\/strong> with Indy Srinath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the coming months, Disney+ will welcome a number of movies launching exclusively including 20th Century Studios \u201cThe Princess\u201d <\/strong>on 1 Julystarring Joey King as a beautiful, strong-willed princess who refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed, and is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father\u2019s castle. Searchlight Pictures\u2019 \u201cNot Okay\u201d<\/strong> launches on 29 July, a satire that follows an aimless aspiring writer (Zoey Deutch) who fakes an Instagram-friendly trip to Paris in the hopes of boosting her social media clout but unwittingly falls into a lie bigger than she ever imagined. Plus, 20th Century Studios \u201cPrey\u201d <\/strong>on 5 August, an all-new entry in the \u201cPredator\u201d franchise set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago directed by Dan Trachtenberg (\u201cThe Boys,\u201d \u201c10 Cloverfield Lane\u201d). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
