DIS JY<\/strong><\/em>, singer-songwriter Christiaan Baartman<\/strong>\u2019s latest single, has been a favourite on radio stations from the get-go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now fans can also enjoy a music video of this folk-pop track that perfectly captures the feel-good vibe of the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the musician, they originally had a complex idea for the video, until Leon Gropp suggested something different \u2013 which included balloons, small instruments and a school hall \u2013 that changed the entire concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is such an upbeat song and we decided to go with a playful video of friends having a good time and playing music together. I am very chuffed with the final product and wouldn\u2019t want it any other way,\u201d<\/em> he explains. \u201cThe song is about the feelings you experience when meeting the love of your life. It is important to remind yourself that love still exists and that it will find you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video was shot by Moving North Media\u2019s Jannes de Villiers in Laerskool Tygerpoort\u2019s school hall. They had loads of fun on set and even added some humour to the day (and video) by giving the guy with the biggest beard, The Captain\u2019s Beard\u2019s Christo Plekenpol, the smallest guitar to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
