The BBC\u2019s first free-to-view channel in South Africa will launch on its 100th birthday, Tuesday 18th October 2022 and offer a variety of entertainment, natural history series, soaps and children\u2019s shows from BBC Studios\u2019 award-winning catalogue. Plus a selection of Sir David Attenborough\u2019s fascinating docuseries;\u00a0<strong><em>Big Bird, Giant Dinosaur, Giant Egg, Fabulous Frogs\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and<strong><em>\u00a0Natural Curiosities\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>join the channel later this year<strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The channel will also provide entertainment for children aged 0-12 between 06:00 and 09:00 every morning including the first seasons of action-packed geographical adventure,&nbsp;<strong><em>Go Jetters<\/em><\/strong>, Children\u2019s cookery show,&nbsp;<strong><em>My World Kitchen<\/em><\/strong>, wildlife show,&nbsp;<strong><em>Andy\u2019s Safari Adventures<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><em>My Pet &amp; Me<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;which helps children appreciate what it really means to have a pet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arran Tindall, Senior Vice President, EMEA Key Markets, BBC Studios said \u201cWe are proud to partner with Openview to launch our first ever free-to-view channel in South Africa.
