Thanks for including me in your vision!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chan\u00e9 Grobler exclaimed on Instagram: <em>\u201cI am obsessed!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI am extremely grateful that as a woman who wears Hijab, TAPPUTI gave me this opportunity, which is rare for women like me. I feel truly empowered. To have worked with the other ladies was like a dream!\u201d<\/em>, says Danelle Liebenberg ElFar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local artist Anna Katharina Kreatif was commissioned to paint 5 paintings to accompany the release of the collection to reflect the diversity of the brand and women amongst us and she outdid herself. With a strong passion for women empowerment, the arts and as a firm believer in diversity she worked endlessly to create the TAPPUTI brand and<br \/>campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI am obsessed with perfume oils and also find it very hard to walk past a beautiful perfume bottle. The more unique, vintage and exquisite, the more we want it!&nbsp;So, I went and found 10 luxury oils that I know woman will love and combined it with a range of the most beautiful vintage perfume bottles I could find. Everything just eventually came together after 3 years of planning. We are excited for all South African women to experience our exquisite TAPPUTI. It took us long enough to get to this point\u201d<\/em>, she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand\u2019s name, TAPPUTI, comes from Tapputi Belatekallim who is considered to be the world\u2019s first recorded female chemist, a perfume-maker mentioned in a cuneiform tablet. Archaeologists found a record of her work in clay on an Assyrian cuneiform tablet dating back to 1200 BCE. in Babylonian Mesopotamia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a royal perfume-maker, Tapputi wasn\u2019t just the head of her own household (which is what \u201cBelatekallim\u201d means); she is spoken of as being an authority in her field and the official overseer of perfumery in the royal palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe are all heads of our own households, many of us entrepreneurs or working women, mothers, wives, sisters, friends and have to fill so many shoes. So Tapputi just fitted our brand and identified with us as women on so many levels.&nbsp;Tapputi had a fragrance, a story. We have a fragrance, a story. Omdat sy passievol is oor die plaaslike kunste, diversiteit en om vroue te bemagtig, het sy hard gewerk om die TAPPUTI-handelsmerk en -veldtog te vestig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>Ek is versot op parfuum-olies en vind dit ook baie moeilik om verby \u2019n pragtige parfuumbottel te stap. Hoe meer uniek, antiek en keurig, hoe meer wil ons dit h\u00ea! So, ek het 10 luukse olies gekry waarvan ek weet vrouens sal hou en dit gekombineer met \u2019n reeks van die mooiste antieke parfuumbottels wat ek kon kry. Alles het net uiteindelik bymekaar gekom na 3 jaar se beplanning. Ons is opgewonde vir alle Suid-Afrikaanse vroue om ons pragtige TAPPUTI te ervaar.
