Comprised of six 22-minute episodes, production begins this month in Cape Town, and the show will premiere weekly from 13 January 2023 on DreamWorks (DStv channel 304) and Universal+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join hosts, South Africa\u2019s newest youth presenters, 14-year-old Tanaka and 11-year-old Aaron, as they make their way to the heart of DreamWorks, in <em>Inspiration Station Africa<\/em>. Across six episodes, the new series will explore the creativity behind DreamWorks Animation\u2019s award-winning series and movies. Each week, a talented team of roving young correspondents will be on the ground in Johannesburg and Cape Town discussing topical themes with local kids. <em>Inspiration Station Africa<\/em> takes viewers on a journey of discovery, drawing on a world of fun, facts and knowledge&nbsp;intertwined&nbsp;with the stories explored by our beloved&nbsp;DreamWorks&nbsp;characters\u200b\u200b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>Following the successful launch of DreamWorks on DStv in March 2022, we\u2019re delighted to announce our first-ever original production for the channel in Africa<\/em>,<em>\u201d <\/em><strong>commented <\/strong><strong>Lee Raftery, Managing Director, Europe, Middle East &amp; Africa, NBCUniversal International Networks &amp; Direct-To-Consumer.<\/strong><em> \u201cYoung viewers will be able to delve into the creative thinking behind their favourite animated characters in DreamWorks Africa\u2019s first live-action format, while also hearing about local, South African topics from our new youth presenters.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a><\/a> DreamWorks launched on DStv (channel 304) in March 2022, welcoming subscribers to the fantastical world of fan-favourite characters and their epic adventures and offering a slate of Emmy\u00ae award-winning, original television series, including: <em>All Hail King Julien<\/em>, <em>The Adventures of Puss in Boots<\/em>, <em>Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny<\/em>, <em>The Boss Baby: Back in Business<\/em>, <em>Dragons: Race to the Edge<\/em>, <em>Dawn of the Croods<\/em>, <em>Trolls: The Beat Goes On!<\/em>, <em>The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants <\/em>and more.
