From creator Tracy McMillan, the eight-episode series will premiere March 10<sup>th<\/sup> on Disney+ in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by McMillan\u2019s life, \u201cUnPrisoned\u201d is a half-hour comedy about a messy but perfectionist relationship therapist and single mom whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son, Finn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series stars Kerry Washington (\u201cLittle Fires Everywhere\u201d), Delroy Lindo (\u201cDa 5 Bloods\u201d), Marque Richardson (\u201cDear White People\u201d), Faly Rakotohavana (\u201cSecret Society of Second Born Royals\u201d) and Jordyn McIntosh (\u201cThe First Lady\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From ABC Signature, the series is executive produced by Tracy McMillan, Yvette Lee Bowser, who also serves as showrunner, Kerry Washington alongside Pilar Savone through their Simpson Street production company, and Delroy Lindo. Joy Gorman Wettels, Jen Braeden and Kevin Bray also executive produce.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robust&nbsp;parental&nbsp;controls&nbsp;ensure that Disney+ remains a suitable viewing experience for everyone in the family.
