The musical comedy series\u00a0premieres with all episodes on 10 May, only on Disney+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Muppets Mayhem\u201d follows The Electric Mayhem Band \u2014 Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet \u2014 on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Singh), the old-school Muppet band comes face-to-face with the current-day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Muppets Mayhem | Official Trailer | Disney+\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HhP4QiK8GzA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on characters created by Jim Henson, the Disney+ Original series from Disney Branded Television is produced by ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio. The project was developed and written by executive producers Adam F. Goldberg (\u201cThe Goldbergs\u201d), Bill Barretta (\u201cThe Muppets,\u201d \u201cMuppets Haunted Mansion\u201d) and co-executive producer Jeff Yorkes. Michael Bostick, Kris Eber and The Muppets Studio\u2019s David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter also serve as executive producers. Original music by executive music producer and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Muppets Mayhem\u201d&nbsp;soundtrack will be available on streaming platforms beginning May 10, and the band\u2019s debut album, \u201cThe Electric Mayhem,\u201d&nbsp;is set for release on vinyl on May 12.
