K. Lee. The Lulu Wang-directed series stars Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning actor Nicole Kidman (<em>Big Little Lies<\/em>, <em>The Undoing<\/em>), Sarayu Blue (<em>Never Have I Ever<\/em>, <em>Blockers<\/em>), Ji-young Yoo (<em>Moxie<\/em>, <em>Smoking Tigers<\/em>), Brian Tee (<em>Chicago Med<\/em>, <em>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows<\/em>), and Jack Huston (<em>House of Gucci<\/em>, <em>Fargo<\/em>). <em>Expats<\/em> will have the world premiere screening of its feature-length penultimate episode at the Toronto International Film Festival on\u00a0 8 The series interrogates privilege and explores what happens when social norms are eschewed, behavioral boundaries are pushed, and the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred. Brian Tee, who plays Margaret\u2019s husband Clarke and Jack Huston, who plays Hilary\u2019s husband David also star in the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lulu Wang serves as a creator, director and writer for <em>Expats<\/em>. Wang also executive produces the series with Daniele Melia for Local Time. Nicole Kidman also serves as an executive producer for the series with Per Saari for Blossom Films (<em>Rabbit Hole<\/em>, <em>Nine Perfect Strangers<\/em>), along with Theresa Park for Per Capita Productions (<em>After Yang<\/em>, <em>Bones and All<\/em>). Alice Bell (<em>The Beautiful Lie<\/em>) and Stan Wlodkowski (<em>The Old Guard<\/em>) also serve as executive producers. Bell, Vera Miao (<em>Two Sentence Horror Stories<\/em>), and Gursimran Sandhu (<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>) served as writers, along with Wang and author Janice Y. K.
