A star-studded lineup of hip-hop legends and GRAMMY\u00ae-winning artists including Black Thought, Bun B, Common, De La Soul, Jermaine Dupri, J.J. Fad, Talib Kweli, The Lady Of Rage, LL COOL J, MC Sha-Rock, Monie Love, The Pharcyde, Queen Latifah, Questlove, Rakim, Remy Ma, Uncle Luke, Yo-Yo, and many more are set to grace the stage at the special tribute concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. More performers to be announced in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT:<\/strong>
The Recording Academy\u00ae, Jesse Collins Entertainment and CBS present A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop on Nov. 8, 2023, at YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. The live concert special will showcase and celebrate the genre\u2019s profound history and monumental cultural impact around the world. The tribute special will air Sunday, Dec. 10, 8:30 \u2013 10:30 p.m. ET\/PT, on the CBS Television Network and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment. Jesse Collins, Shawn Gee, Dionne Harmon, Claudine Joseph, LL COOL J, Fatima Robinson, Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, and Ahmir \u201cQuestlove\u201d Thompson for Two One Five Entertainment serve as executive producers and Marcelo Gama as director of the special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YouTube Theater is a 6,000-seat performance venue located at Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination in Inglewood Calif., being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner\/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. The state-of-the-art theater is a 227,000 square foot, three-story indoor venue situated under the same roof canopy as SoFi Stadium and American Airlines Plaza. The venue can be configured to house three different crowd capacities, including intimate settings with minimum capacities of 3,400 and 4,400.
