His first novel, Verskietende Ster<\/em>, was published in 2013, with the film adaptation following in 2015, winning the Audience Choice award at the prestigious Silwerskermfees. He published his second novel, Tweede Kanse<\/em>, in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He also boasts an impressive list of films, including Strikdas<\/em>, Nul Is Nie Niks Nie<\/em>, Liewe Kersfeesvader<\/em>, and Klein Karoo<\/em>, and was one of the writers for Getroud Met Rugby<\/em>. Op Soek na Re\u00ebnbo\u00eb<\/em>, a kykNET feature film for which he was the screenwriter and director, premiered in 2022. He also worked as a line producer on an Emmy-winning documentary for CNN. This year, he was nominated for two South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently, this versatile man is engaged in several exciting projects, including The Heat<\/em>, a documentary about the world-renowned welterweight boxing champion Chris van Heerden, a film about a painting pig named Pigcasso<\/em>, and a documentary about Jacques Freitag.
