With the synergies of Towerkop Creations and Left Post productions, the Butterfly Revolution (#butterflyrevolution<\/a>) has taken flight and with women\u2019s month far from over, the revolution is inviting the citizens of the world to join.<\/p>\n

Directed by Uga Carlini of Towerkop Creations<\/a> and produced by Jaco Dempsey of Left Post Productions<\/a>, the #butterflyrevolution campaign is inspired by the controversial 1999 Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road<\/a>, A Million Ways To Die In The West<\/a>) \u201cReal men don\u2019t rape\u201d campaign. But that was just the inspiration. The execution is slightly different. This revolution is going to our doorsteps. We are saying out loud what WE are planning on DOING about the dire situation of violence against women and children. Charlize wasn\u2019t wrong, but things have gotten even worse since, and we want to know what are the real men and real women of this country \u2013 of this world \u2013 planning on doing about it. Our revolution is about that butterfly effect; the scientific theory that a single occurrence, no matter how small, can change the course of the universe forever, because we too don\u2019t doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. And as Margaret Mead said, indeed, it\u2019s the only thing that ever has. So, why have YOU joined the #butterflyrevolution? Set the example, nominate your friends and let the Butterfly Revolution\u00a0fly!<\/p>\n

The Butterfly Revolution is\u00a0starting out by asking famous South Africans in different sectors (BECAUSE VIOLENCE DOESN\u2019T DISCRIMINATE AND, WHEN IT COMES TO THIS CAUSE, WE ARE ALL ONE \u2013 WE SHOULD BE) to add their voices to the #butterflyrevolution by becoming Butterfly Revolution\u00a0ambassadors. The idea is to start with well-known faces, and to eventually open the platform to everyone, so that everyone can start sharing their contribution to the #butterflyrevolution. (Think of the ice bucket challenge where one would nominate individuals.) They\u00a0want to remind, inspire and ignite each other by being silently brave or publically revolutionary.<\/p>\n
