<\/strong>In line with its commitment to providing the very best in international sporting leagues and entertainment to fans across the continent, ESPN Africa is proud to announce that it will be premiering the USA\u2019s National Women\u2019s Soccer League (NWSL) this April on ESPN (DStv Channel 218, StarSat 248).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soccer fans can now enjoy two NWSL games each week, including both live and repeat broadcasts, as well as a weekly highlights show on ESPN, which will lead up to the exciting playoffs and NWSL Championship in November this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NSWL features several players from the continent, including Racheal Kundananji (Malawi) whose recent-record signing to Bay FC<\/em> created much excitement among fans, following recent offseason signings of 6-time CAF women\u2019s player of the year Asisat Oshoala (Nigeria) and Princess Marfo, (Ghana).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

South Africa’s Linda Motlhalo has returned to the NWSL to play for Racing Louisville FC,<\/em> while Orlando Pride<\/em> signed prolific striker Barbra Banda (Zambia) and Kansas City Current<\/em> picking up striker Temwa Chawinga (Malawi). These players add to the already stellar roster of talent from Africa that includes Nigeria’s Ifeoma Onumonu, who plays for Utah Royals<\/em>, Estelle Johnson, who plays for North Carolina Courage<\/em>, Uchenna Kanu for Racing Louisville<\/em> and Michelle Alozie at the Houston Dash<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
