Season 1 was just named Best TV Show at the 2024 Kalasha Awards, Kenya\u2019s biggest prize.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Season 2 features returning cast members Dr Catherine Masitsa, Minne Kariuki and Vera Sidika, who will be joined by newcomers Farah Esmail, Reja Keji Ladu and Zena Nyambu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esmail is a 50-year-old professional bodybuilder, bikini athlete and owner of F45 training studio. She is also an impact entrepreneur, business consultant and corporate lawyer who mainly works in corporate governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twenty-nine-year-old Ladu is a mother of two and the wife to the Minister of Cabinet Affairs of South Sudan. Born in Uganda, and raised in both Uganda and South Sudan, Reja resides in Nairobi with her children. She is the owner of a clothing brand called Jenm, headquartered in Juba and a catering company. She is also about to launch a spa in South Sudan and poultry farm in Nanyuki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nyambu is a 41-year-old mother of two and a beauty and aesthetics entrepreneur, who runs several businesses, including luxury skincare parlour Glamsquad Kenya and interior design company Art Infinity. She is also a partner at Zela Aesthetics, a medical aesthetics and wellness centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Real Housewives of Nairobi<\/em> is produced by Eugene Mbugua\u2019s D&amp;R Studios and is part of <em>The Real Housewives<\/em> franchise licensed globally by NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very excited for the return of <em>The Real Housewives of Nairobi<\/em> in May. Over the years, D&amp;R Studios has cut a niche in quality production of unscripted shows in Kenya, and to be able to pull off a global format of this magnitude and have it renewed is something we\u2019re very proud of as a company,\u201d says executive producer Eugene Mbugua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added, \u201cIn this new season, we\u2019ll see a return of some familiar faces and a few new additions.
