Established in 1989 and named for inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nab.org\/events\/awards\/overview.asp?id=1928\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nab.org\/events\/awards\/overview.asp?id=1928\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marconi Radio Awards<\/a>\u00a0recognize overall excellence and performance in radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners of the 2024 Marconi Radio Awards will be announced during a special dinner program on October 9, 2024 at the Javits Center during <a href=\"https:\/\/nabshow.com\/newyork2024\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/nabshow.com\/newyork2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NAB Show New York,<\/a> held October 9-10.<br \/><br \/>Stations and on-air personalities may nominate themselves in the following categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Radio Station of the Year by Market Size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radio Station of the Year by Format<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College Radio Station of the Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personality of the Year by Market Size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network\/Syndicated Personality of the Year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legendary Station Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legendary Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Radio Podcast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Marconi Radio Award finalists are selected by an independent task force of broadcasters and will be announced in July.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All nominations must be submitted through the <a href=\"https:\/\/my.nab.org\/NC__Login?startURL=%2F\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/my.nab.org\/NC__Login?startURL=%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NAB member portal<\/a>.
